. Grey just keeps drawing my curiosity ever more so with every moment I spend in her presence. Who is this knight? & why does she well up so much intrigue within me ?...

ArcBlue117

Oh, did Dana keep her girls away from a potential danger zone to protect them?

hushabyevalley

That would mean she's failing her duty as a Saint... Hmmm.

hushabyevalley

"Don't make the children make me take them to danger... >:T"

ArcBlue117

She is still human at heart, and she cares for her "daughters" a whole lot, that much is clear. Being a Saint and losing Acolythes in combat all the time, the girls you spent so long protecting... must be horrible. No wonder Dana might waver. (Pls let her run away with her girls and live somewhere safe and happy thank you)

hushabyevalley

Haha, yeah, I got that feeling too halfway through :,D I didn't even plan to have all of them show on the page at all.

hushabyevalley

In the world of Hushabye Valley there is no such thing as safe and happy. :,3 Everything is fleeting.

ArcBlue117

Well, yeah, they'll die of old age eventually. They can only be happy until then! (Wishful thinking, I know.) Also, does the no permanent safe/happy thing also apply to ADA/happy endings in general?

hushabyevalley

Ada's universe isn't inherently bad. Is just near current day earth (as good/bad/normal that is) But that isn't to say that things can't go real bad. Ada is an unknown and very alien. The scale of tragedy can't be predicted. HV's world is afflicted by a curse and everything is always bad at all times; like a law of nature. Like a divine comedy without paradise. Makes the glimmers of hope glow even brighter, even if fickle. :3

ArcBlue117

Oh, I see. Thank you.

Carcass

Ooooh, I didn't think my interest in this could be any higher. I like the way you think! This is good stuff~

The amount of shock and awe this gets from the girls tells me they've been through some harrowing experiences already. To find out they're not even in the danger zone might be a little hard to process.
