RakasaDemon strikes again! She's doing all the major women in the story, and hopefully some of them eventually too! Hope you love her work as much as I do!

(And just a note, the crop tops and clothing style aren't my choice, but Rakasa's, and I'm happy to give her leave to do what she thinks looks best. These are supposed to be something like "modeling shots", and I think she's pulling it off great!)

While the artwork is wonderful, it doesn't scream Chancery to me. I have never envision Chancery in such a revealing top, she has always come off as more conservative to me.

I like that there is a lore-based reason on why every character is a stunner. It always seems so unrealistic in other novels that all that main characters and supporting cast are all perfection, but this seems right. Only bummer to this is it will be a bitter pill to swallow when we see Sidorov or someone that we don't like and they are a knockout.

These are less "How they would dress" images, and more "Paid photoshoot for a magazine cause she's a famous User" illustrations. So don't feel like you should see Chancery dressing like this in canon.

I'm more here for the writing than the art, but the art is nice, too. As far as the clothing choices go, I feel like they'd all have their personal style while out on liberty, so it works. The only one I see dressing more conservatively might be Aria with her personality, but that's just the vibe I get from her.

The modeling shoot seems fitting because of course as they get more popular some of them will get offers like that. I'm not sure if they are still in the current contracts but I recall in book 2 that marketing was mentioned as a point in the initial one Rei got.

Hmmm....no. You can be a person who wants to draw attention and dress conservatively, but you can't be a shy reserved person and dress like that. It's just not realistic.

I think Chancery is reserved, rather than shy. This is how I see her- a hard working girl who knows she has to make her own place in the world.

You can't imagine that, but I know people that are exactly that, shy and reserved and at the same time they have their thing for fashion and every now and then, when the occasion arises, they pull out something like this. It's a whole thing and I have friends that do fashion photography as a hobby. Their actual talent is making even the shy people feel so safe and comfortable with themselves and the situation that Mrs. I-dress-exclusively-in-oversized-turtleneck-sweaters suddenly rocks something not too dissimilar to what Chancery is wearing here.

I were 'Locks' and dependencies on your locking technique (interweaving of the hair) you can achieve a braid like look. This is not the palm twist method, which creates a smooth tube of hair.
