Hey everyone! Sorry for the second delay! Bryce isn't feeling 100% after the week, so he didn't wrap 8.5 as expected today! We've made him promise to watch anime all evening and go to bed early, so he can knock it out in the morning and get it out to you tomorrow night! After that, he also promises to have 9 to you this coming Friday!

So sorry! This week really took it out of all of us on the team!

I'm gonna need Bryce to sit in the corner with that anime and chill as long as necessary. I think we are good to wait, no need for him to stress himself and add that pressure. Throw in some gummy bears and ice cream and call it a wrap for a bit. I do like my chapters, but not more than his wellbeing

is it really sustainable to crank out a chapter per week for the patreon? I'm worried you'll burn out this way : / I think most of us would be happy if they just came out whenever!

Could we get a revised release time frame on the book? I know it was supposed to be this quarter, but with everything going on I’m assuming that’s not going to happen. I mean we’re getting 2-3 chapters a month. No rush just curious :)

I’d like that too. Obviously I don’t want to rush them into a subpar product but also I’d like to know what I’m expected to get out of my patreon subscribtion.

I mean. I am all for him taking care of himself. I’ve just started writing and I’m quickly learning how difficult it is. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with an update though. Personally I’ve been a patron at 5 dollars a month for 4 months now I think? That’s more than the cost of the whole book and we’ve gotten 7 chapters. I don’t think asking for an update is rude

I’m sorry but I have an issue with that. The patreon membership was for me a mutual commitment: a way to help out a talented author breaking through by alleviating financial concerns while we are benefiting from early released chapters. Reading you now makes me realise the writing part is now a hobby. I’m of course ok with the author having a life, needing breaks from the writing process from time to time but there are other ways to raise money for a promising new business venture.

Hey Antoine, Bryce here. While you are absolutely entitled to your concerns and opinion, your statement has me at a bit of a loss given that this is Wraithmarked Creative's Patreon. A business Patreon. You have access not only to my own stuff, but to lots of other material as well, and it's that platform that you are helping to build up. Your pledge helps pays salaries and small authors, helps expand our ventures, and helps us afford to take on massive projects like the Mother of Learning print-run. I have to coordinate all that, and that's on top of the writing I need to do for Stormweaver. Yes, I use it to relax, because I enjoy writing and don't have a lot of opportunity to. And I will continue to use it to relax, even if it's part of my job. If you're dissatisfied with that, I'm happy to have the team refund your Feb pledge and terminate you patronage.
