I'm so sorry, and I will try not to make promises from now on that I'm not 100% sure I can keep, but I'm very much feeling the stress of a lot of things right now, and I need to take a breather for a few days or so so I don't end up burning out completely.

I'll make sure to get you guys some cool Stormweaver stuff in the meantime so your money is still well-spent, but I absolutely need to step away from the story for a few days or I'm going to start hating sitting down to write, which I do promise no one wants.

I will do my best (no promises) to get you a GOOD Chapter 9 next Friday! But after that it's going to be every two weeks for a bit like I said. I've taken on too much, and the last two Fridays of getting asked from every angle about the chapter took more of a toll on my stress levels than I realized.

So sorry. But expect a small, cool art update soon so you guys at least get something today!

Thank you everyone for being so supportive and understanding. It helps a lot!

Take more time if you need it. You’re telling a timeless story, don’t rush it. We will all be thankful for that in the long run.

Tyler Thornton

Take care of yourself. Well still be here :)

Don't worry one bumboclat. Love yuh.

I left a similar comment on one of your previous posts but I thought I'd reiterate: Having experienced burnout myself I'm really worried that trying to write to a weekly schedule is unsustainable. Take all the time you need. Honestly I'd be happy if you outright abandoned any kind of schedule entirely and just surprised us with chunks at a time whenever it suited you (if at all). Subscribers be damned. Don't risk your enjoyment of writing just for a bunch of eager fans please. It's not worth it.

Take the time you need mucker, don't worry.

Zebrababies

Thank you for the update. Enjoy your time off.

Marz

Take whatever time you need! Burnout is a bitch and sometimes you have to step away before things get too bad

Jim Wilbourne

Don't even mind. Do what you have to do!

No worries m8. Take it easy. We get it!

Bro, mental health is first and foremost. Take care of yourself!!

All good take some time!

Terry Mosson

Many of us don't want you to feel pressured. Hope you recover and recuperate. Take your time to give us the story in your heart and mind. Until the go have fun and remember why you love to write

Debie Baugher

Take your time. Breaks are good. Don't break yourself.

Look. If y'all can't leave the man alone to do his work, why are you here? Just to get cool stuff? I'm here to support the project in whatever small way I can, I could get nothing and still be on board. Be better people, you can't force art on a timeline.

It’s the curse of the optimist and for all the good that schedules do, they usually lack chill time or having a beer or 8 with a friend or taking the dog to the vet etc. etc. Some people’s kids can’t understand that.

I’m glad you bumped it out. I hope you can start taking full weekends for yourself. Tough when you own a business! But beyond just your enjoyment of writing, burnout in general is a real thing. You need to do stuff for you with no pressure on a regular basis, like your anime spree a week or so ago but without the guilt that you are missing a deadline tied up in it.

Take your time, im just here to show my support for some good books and amazing authors.

Brush that pressure off your shoulders.. its not helpful and real fans aren't going anywhere - I promise. Take your time so your work shows your love of the content. Breath deep! Its all good!

Hey, get some well-deserved rest. I am patient. I can't say all are, but I am sure there are others who are patient and understanding too. Your emotional, mental, and physical well-being is the most important thing to cherish. You only have one life. Unless you are a species from another planet with multiple lives....lol...jkjkjk...joking aside, take as long as you need even if it is not on a timeline. True fan got your back always no matter what. We support your work and believe in you. True masterpieces are not rushed and don't have a timeline. Stay in the present and protect your energy.

Take your time. You're right, no one wants you to hate writing. Part of what makes Stormweaver good is that you love the characters and the world. Honestly, if what you need is to stop even giving us previews and just write it, I'd be fine with that. Take care of yourself.

Haha I’m shocked you lasted this long. That was an intense pace to try and keep. Im sure the large majority don’t care and would rather you keep your sanity and passion for the story rather than burn out. Take the time you need to relax and come in fresh. Heck try that Elden Ring game to take your mind off.

Joshua L Trossbach

Thank you for being so candid. That has to be really hard to tell folks about, being overwhelmed. I'm honestly impressed with the work you've already put out and the pace you were crafting this amazing story. Be well and take care of your self. We'll still be here....

I rarely post places. Usually just the silent observer but feel like you need all the comments you can get. Take your time. Breathe deep. Positive affirmations and know we appreciate you.

No worries! Take care of yourself!! We'll still be here 😬

Hi Bryce and everyone. (Hit wrong button by mistake last post). Anyway, this is the only post I am likely to post, but I thought it pertinent to this thread. Let's all give the man some space! As a person who has attempted to write myself (have 3 unfinished books on my computer) I am always appreciative of anyone who can get it done and done well. Stormweaver promises so much. It would be terrible if it does not reach it's full potential because of well intentioned but over pressured enthusiasm from the readership. and finally Bryce and all aspiring authors...Even Patreon can be a double edged sword..smile
