Hey all! Two things!

First: I am not at all happy with the ending of the "chapter" you guys are getting tomorrow morning. I was trying something clever and in the end it just feels like I'm cutting an important scene short.

(To clarify, I was testing out what would happen if I tried to write like "serial fiction" which recommends 1.5k to 2k-ish word chapters. Turns out I don't like it lol.)

Unfortunately, I don't have time to fix it because I'm at NYCC for the weekend for an unplanned meeting with a big someone who could end up being very important to the Stormweaver brand (cough cough definitely nothing to do with potential adaptations of the series cough cough). For that reason, I apologize in advance for what I think is a very unsatisfactory Chapter 33 tomorrow, but look forward my trying to get both 33 finished and 34 out next Friday if I can manage it!

Second: Honoka strikes again as he starts on the Stormweaver commissions from the playmat Kickstarter! Yall are going to be VERY happy little Users when you get these, I think...

Cough cough wtfmate. Good luck!!

Mike Frenkel

That looks amazing. Good luck with the meeting!

Zac

Thanks for the heads up Bryce... I'm sure Chapter 33 will still be pretty amazing and we'll love it. Hope the meeting goes well, sir :) Also, Honoka has got skills.

Mad

Hmm, this prompted me to check chapter sizes of one other author i am supporting, who puts out 5 chapters a week - on average seems to be 3-4K words each. I dindt know 1,5-2 is standard... But of course everybody is different and if output matches expectations of patrons, then what else can be asked.

A good chapter is whatever length it needs to be. Do what feels right. Either way, I'm sure it will be fine. Also, you're a dirty, dirty tease...

Cora

Look, I have no freaking clue what this art is for, but I want it. Because dang is it good. P.S.: Also, this is just cuz I got into them recently, but I'm thinking we need an online visual webnovel of a Warformed variety. 😁🤨🤐☺

Bryce.... I'm a LESBIAN. WHY IS REI SO PRETTY?! Like... I'm not complaining 👀 but I didn't expect to have a crush on a boy, even if they are fictional!

Casey

Hahaha 🤣 I see it now great art but those eyes 👀 are they supposed to be sultry? Is that the right word?

Reaperess

Ok so I'm not the only one!

Joanne Hans

"Bedroom eyes" are what they're called.

15k to 20k words a week?!? That's insane output, Sanderson shoots for 10k a week when writing his first drafts, and he's one of the most prolific writers around. I don't want to disparage this author, especially since I have no idea who it is and have never read his/her work, but I'm imagining the quality can't be all that high?

Indrek Kelder

he is regularly in top3 of various peoples "my favourite litrpg" lists. Its probably not good to more openly advertise other authors here but IMHO he is really-really good. I realise that his output is rather exeption than rule. Nice to know.
