I suspect with how many chapters have already been spent covering the tournament that some (if not most) of that will be in future book since it doesn’t look like we will have enough book space left for back at the academy. Unless Bryce wants to give us a monster sized book with a mid book climax for the tournament and then we get another semester for the second half. Would I be surprised? Yes. Would I complain? Hell no! I trust him to make it work 😁 That said, I agree wholeheartedly with these. I’d also like to add to the list: ~ probable fallout at academy from tournament and all the extra sponsorship attention he could get (I’m looking at those jealous second years 😒). I’m hoping he doesn’t end up completely alienated from other 1st years… ~ finally having things come to a head with the whole mad at Viv but also forgiving but there’s still a lot of room for misunderstanding before hashing things out and that not being the elephant in the corner of their friendship anymore… ~ more hinting (or straight up secret spilling) about the CADs and sentience ~ and one I am fairly certain we will get this book: an official match between Aria and Rei. Bryce, will be very put out if you end the book with this match as a cliff-hanger! I may boycott…old-school style! Buy physical copies of book, 🔥 in anger, be sad no more book, buy again, read, 🔥again and repeat till we managed to double the expected sales for first print run…😆

I think/hope that this will be a monster sized book because the first book had 60 chapters and we have only got a little more than half of that for the second book.

The first book had 60+ chapters, I see no reason the second book can't be as long or longer.
