That's colored pencil, unless I'm mistaken. If it is, then the artist is putting CRAZY hours and effort into this piece. No matter what you do with it, framing it would be a good first step.

It is! I got a commission from him not too long ago (as a present for my cousin) because of seeing his work on the art for this series. He does do it all in colored pencil. He's outrageously talented.

Went to art school with a guy who used colored pencils and made it look like ink. He’d go through a set of pencils every month or two. His work was amazing, though.
