I can see why everyone is going for beach, but the joke is a bit too easy. Abandoned depot is definitely the way to go (just not the exact same one)

Aria vs Grant was already a great fight on the beach in Book one I hope we get to see some new tactics in a new zone from both the fighters in an epic battle

I know there's the idea of the beach, but it's wide open and already a harkening back to the duel with Aria/Grant. I think it should be canyons, because it'll force more creativity on both their parts! Though honestly, any of them could be GREAT.

I think desert would best a dunes set up, because it have rei think and come up how use the sand and dunes on how the sand shifts, same with aria thinking and focusing on how to keep her footing and stay balanced.

Canyon!! there's more opportunity for Bryce to just write a crazy ass fight scene with Reidon doing parkour and Aria using the elevation Against Rei. Would be so cool

I was looking for the depot then thought about sunset beach for the romance but then decided on canyons so Rei could get creative. 😊

Forget the romantic beach, this a fight and the deck should be stacked against Rei. FLOOD ZONE.

Theres the art piece from Aug 9th that could be grasslands. Rei and Aria's pose is very different from a fighting engagement, but setting them in the same place with a cute stone walls, and a windmill could add some narrative variety. Throw in a line of internal dialog something to the effect of "this would be a idyllic simulation for a quiet afternoon in the sun, if it weren't for the 100K screaming fans and a masochistic spear wielder barreling at me at what must be approaching mach speed."

I'd say canyon and really restrict the zone so the fighters have to fight very close quarters where mobility isn't an option. Really put the sweeps and mobility limited. Make it truly head to head with no tricks or clever moves just all out grit. I think it would show the progress of Ward the best

The abandoned building one where he fought Aria first isn't there, and the magma hill one where he suffered his loss in the tournament at Galens isn't either. Those would be my top two.

I mostly want a water field of some kind cuz we haven’t had a good scene with water in it recently. We have had canyon type stuff or I would pick that. Dunes mentioned above would be good. He could do so many cool things with fields like that to show off how smart he is. But…I wanna see Bryce stretch those creative muscles with a field that really works against them. Make him and Rei BOTH work for it 😆 of course abandoned depot would be amazing! But thinking about it…if someone is trying to sabotage him, a field that trashes his advantages like flood would make sense.

The fun will be IF Rei wins it will be in the same field that Aria first beat Logan in. Also we may see how Rei figured out to get around third eye.
