While 99% of you are awesome, incredible readers, there are several vocal people of late that apparently need a full throated reminder. So here it goes:I am not seeking feedback on Stormweaver 2. I am not looking for thoughts on how you think the story should be progressing to make it better, nor on when you think the books should end cause I'm not doing it right.I am not seeking feedback on my schedule, nor any opinion on if I'm meeting expectations when it is clearly stated in the tiers and every chapter that new releases will come every two weeks on average. Stormweaver is my fun project, and those of you in the last several posts who seem to believe you are entitled to ignore my very clear rules that I'm not looking for feedback are making it very difficult for me to enjoy my work. That is not okay. Not for my mental health, not for my productivity, not for the members of the Patreon who are here to read and enjoy the story without thinking they have a right to try and effect it direction with repeated comments about disappointment at the pacing or timing or what have you. I've genuinely had enough. Im going scorched earth from here on out. If you have nothing positive to share, do not comment. Henceforth I will be removing people from the Patreon who are making me steadily feel less and less like writing every day in order to protect my enjoyment of the process and the book as a whole. Respect the rules I've had in place since this books started to leak. Recognize that i have said from the start chapters will be slow. Otherwise, you will no longer be welcome here. You are steadily ruining this for me, and I will not allow that to go on any longer.

JD, I don't really comprehend your discontent. It is not like the writing is a straight forward process (Patrick Rothfuss comes to mind on how long it can take). And no one expects a polished 'book print version' done in two weeks - everyone knows (or should know) that these things go through multiple revisions. So to me, discontent on the pacing, on where chapters end etc.....seems misplaced.

Richard Jackway

How by the way, do we put paragraphs in? Hitting enter submits the post.

Sam

Hold shift down while you hit enter.

Abhishek Vora

Just keeping doing the great work that you're doing Bryce. So glad to be part of the amazing world that you're creating 🔥

Trav3lingman

Just found your books recently. Liked the first one enough to instantly sign up for Patreon to read the next. If people don't like the book they can easily not pay the money to access it. Nobody is having a gun held to their head and being forced to read your content. So in my own personal opinion screw them. Block them and don't let it affect your mojo.

Obi-Wan-Sage

Love the work man. Ignore the stupid.

Matt

Do what you gotta do, I am for your story so go scorched earth on those that try to change it.👌

Renegade Paint & Piney Woods game club

Do what you need to do. But for myself I'm grateful for the leaks you give us because I want it and have enjoyed this book series and so have the people I have recommended it to. So keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing it as it comes out

Adept

Whatever the pace needs to be, I’m just so glad I get to be a part of reading this series as it develops! I hope this post gets people to respect your rules so you can continue to love writing it as much as I know we love reading it. We appreciate you!

Ben Heggem

I wish more authors would do this, so many assholes who feel entitled to more chapters when most authors you just get a book when u get it with no chapters to help you through in between

Amanda

Do it. We’re behind you. We love you. We love your stories.

Bookreader5491

Good for you Bryce those who shout loudest don't need to be pleased in every situation. Please keep enjoying writing because that's what makes a story good.

Camilla

please do what is best for you! i’m happy that you are putting your foot down when it comes to violations of your (very clear) boundaries. i hope that this final warning does the trick and i’m sorry that some people are unwilling to listen!

TrakN7

Hear,hear!

Jesse Gibson

I'm genuinely stoked to be a part of this. It's a shame that people feel the need to behave like that. Keep up the amazing work, and don't let those people get to you! Scorched Earth!

Brian J Martin

Glad to see you protecting what you love. People often forget that the entire art process itself is for the artist, and they often just focus solely on the "end product". I wouldn't enjoy reading your work if I knew you weren't happy doing it. People are more important than things. ESPECIALLY THE THINGS THEY PRODUCE.

LeaphyMoon

We're paying for wraithmarked creative to support them, in return they share stuff with us. None of us are entitled to suggestions, or changes. Storm weaver is not our world therefore we have no right. Especially when he's asked us NOT to say such things. It's a different story entirely if he were to ask, or do a poll. But he hasn't. Good on you for standing up for yourself Bryce. I love your book and the world you've made and I appreciate that you've chosen to share anything with us at all

Standley Eugene

Respect, support you 100%. Thanks for the chapter and take you time.

akalasedge

I'm glad this is a project you're passionate about, because I'm loving reading it. Hopefully people will be able to relax and let you write; I'd hate to see the WIP chapters stop entirely.

Voror

Sorry that it seemed to get to the point where you had to post this at all Really grateful for all the work you do and have been enjoying SW2 a whole lot. Also got into a lot of other books from Wraithmarked as a result too!

MandTeKad

Good on you man! Sorry to hear it was effecting you so much but don't take people's entitlement lying down!

Rusty Barnes

I'm imagining the kids from "Talladega Nights, the Ballad of Ricky Bobby", when the kids are running around yelling Anarchy

Astrid

I appreciate you, Bryce! Being a part of the Patreon has been a joy during some dark times for me; it's meant a lot. Thank you for being you and sharing Rei's wonderful story.

Lawrence Kite

Thank you, for the opportunity to observe your story in the making.

Aldrin

Hey Bryce, I wanted to stay thanks for your time and effort you put in bring this story to us. This is YOUR story and to often people forget that. I hope you pin this warning so that people who join later can see it and have no excuse. As a fan sorry that its come to this and I do hope this doesn't sour your mood for the week. I await your next Stormweaver post with baited breaths, I'm looking forward to it.

Zack Countler

Well said. It is very clearly marked that you aren't looking for feedback, but some people just don't listen. For the record I think you are doing a fantastic job on the book and looking forward to what happens next. I can't wait to see how it all wraps up. Keep up the good work!

ReadingObsessed

Are these people giving you money but bashing the story? I recognize I will not like every chapter, that's the trouble of reading it one chapter at a time. Necessary slow chapters aren't as fulfilling as the fights that needed said build up. I dislike the idea you'd censor those commiserating messages but I presume it's not those but outright negative comments that're getting you down?

jacob shlagel

It honestly doesn’t make sense there are authors who are bad at deadlines or are condescending to the fans or are just downright mean or have no fan interactions outside of new releases and go dark for sometimes years at a time. For some reason it seams like the the authors that are the best to the fan base and are the most approachable/accessible seem to be treated the worst it’s like they catch all the stray flack for the other authors who have no fan presence.

WillPowah

Iron Prince was the first book in many years that I reread immediately after finishing it. You are creating a fantastic story. I eagerly await the release of book two, at whatever schedule you write it at.

Marz

Honestly, screw those people. You don’t need them, you’re doing a great job as it is!

Tyler Thornton

Take a look through the comments of the unfinished chapter 41 and some of the finished rough draft and you’ll see what this message is about. Not calling anyone out in particular but yeah. Also while i get the uncomfortable feeling about censorship of differing viewpoints, this is not the place to be having those discussions as stated in the rules before every chapter. We have designated chapter discussion posts in the reddit that will not negatively impact the author. If people have problems with the chapter or direction of the book, they can take it there.

Anthony Smith

May hells fire blaze upon the wicked as they fall into eternal damnation.

Brandon and Jess Horton

Your base is all behind you and make little not tolerate anyone making you feel less

Jamie McKean

Great call. And great book. Really looking forward to seeing what’s coming next!!!

Dougie Mitchell

Honestly, since I joined i've thought the pace of chapter release has been great so far, faster than I expected. If you need a loan of some matches, I got you 😋

Observer Whimsy

We all pay for this too, and they’re fucking it up for us too. We stand by you. Well said.

Bowen

👍👏👏👏

Sea Kibs

Hell yeah Bryce, drop that ban hammer down on the haters!!

Jason Bradford

Full support, brother. Block’em, boot’em , fuck raise your prices and we’ll make up the loss. This is a no douchebag zone.

Joe Barzilai

Do what's best for your mental health! Honestly this is an amazing treat for us as readers and if you went no more preview chapters because that's what is best for you and the book then do it. I'd pay for Patreon just to see previews of secret projects and hear about PROGRESS on the book.

Gessen

Hang in there m8, do what you have to for your mental health.

Carolyne

It is an honour to be offered a peek at this story I love as it is in process and not be waiting in full limbo land until book 2 is finished, edited, and finally published! Keep it fun and that will give the best story outcome. Do what you need to do.

Ayce-o-Spades

I’ve never once commented on one of your posts but honestly after reading this I’m going to end my subscription to you. If you put yourself out in the public market and you cant handle the heat then you are not worth following. Playing the victim card when you’re making thousands a month off this platform is honestly extremely sad. Sticks and stones man. Sticks and stones. Adios.

Jeff Homer

hell yes burn the haters

KuruPatreon

Why, exactly, is he an asshole?

Caleb Courtney

Good on you for cracking down. Gotta make the process enjoyable. Does this include discussion in comments about predictions and even hopes? Wanna be respectful of the process, and if Reddit is the place to discuss that kind of thing, I can respect that too.

Linda Thompson

Here, here Bryce, I love getting these chapters whenever they become available. Life matters, your life matters and I’ve seen so many times that you’ve reminded everyone of the rules, I’m glad you’ve finally decided to take action. This is your world, your characters and they should be the only ones to tell you how they want their stories told. Thank you 😊

O.C. Saar

Oh, that is quite simple. He goes into a post that expressly states that he is not looking for feedback on his schedule or the story to give further feedback on his perception of Bryce's strength and quality of character. Additionally, he conflates someone ensuring that entitled children do not damage Bryce's mental health and his creative process with "playing the victim card" and using the moronic phrase "Sticks and stones", as if implying that words cannot damage a person's mental health. Also, "you are putting yourself out in the public market, so you have to put up with our abuse" is an absurd statement and a clear sign of disrespect towards the author's mental, emotional and psychological health. Such a statement has been used in the past to justify the harassment, stalking and targeted attacks towards other people in the public eye, and is, frankly, disgusting. Finally, this post serves as a warning and a heads-up about how things will be handled in the future. It's not an airport. So don't bother announcing your departure, cause frankly, nobody cares.

Flusspferd

This is the kind of post which makes me sympathetic to Bryce‘s approach… Like dude, think about how you phrase stuff and you might have a coherent point that others stand behind and that Bryce might deem worthy of consideration, but like that? It is just insulting and crossing all kinds of lines…

Wraithmarked Creative

No need to unsubscribe. You're being removed and banned from the space. Anyone who is child enough to believe that words have no power isn't someone I want involved in my community. Frankly this response made me feel a lot better. It clicked that the individuals flaunting the rules I've put in place aren't mature enough to give valuable feedback, which actually made the weight of the last couple weeks a lot lighter... So thanks for that! "Adios" 🙄 -Bryce

Josegigs

I like the time in between chapters to think about the story and guess what is coming next. Also I think it's great we get the chance to read the book before it comes out Anyway I'd like to apologize on behalf of myself or others who knowingly or unknowingly broke the rules

Chris

I removed my post on reddit in case it was one of the post to upset you, that was not my intent and I apologize. Stormweaver is one of my fav books and I will promptly shut up about book 2. I'm sorry if I was part of taking you enjoyment out of it.

Richard Jackway

Good for you Bryce - sometimes these type of things need to be said.

Flusspferd

I am sorry if anything I posted before upset you or broke the rules, that was not my intention. In order to avoid future problems though, I do have an honest question. Where are we supposed to voice any grievances we have? I get that all story related issues should be addressed on Reddit, but the rules state nothing about general issues. We are obviously not entitled to force or guilt you into any sort of behaviour that suits or own preferences, be that via rude or disrespectful language. At the same time we are paying for a service and the usual approach to feeling like an agreement is not being honoured / interpreted differently is to talk to the other party rather than just cancel. As an example: The terms of service promote chapters with a certain frequency and Kickstarters and other goodies. For the sake of the argument let‘s assume that to be on top of the chapters (read: with no influence on the frequency of chapters, regardless of whether that makes any sense or not). Thus you apologising for not getting a chapter done due to work of service would constitute a breach of the informal contract between us, your Patrons and you, the author. This is not a story related comment, it is not Feedback to you nor, from my perspective, in any way abusive or forceful. In fact I feel like it is an understandable grievance, especially for people that can not partake in your kickstartes due to shipping being (understandably) limited to the US. I do realise that the shipping limitations aren‘t for every kickstarter, it was more of an example than an actual complaint. TLDR: I don‘t condone abusive or rude behaviour and apologise if previous comments have caused offense. I also hope for a way to discuss grievances unrelated to the story in a mature and constructive way.

Dougie Mitchell

"Chapters will be dropping as Bryce completes them. That means anywhere from every 1 to 2 weeks on average, though sometimes waits may be longer." Thats been on every chapter release since C1. Not looking for any further discussion on this, just wanted to say that its been 57? weeks since C1 so I'd say we are bang on/little ahead of an expected schedule of 3 per month

Joanne Hans

You write and I'll read.......The End :D

Ira White

.that's been my plan too

Wraithmarked Creative

hey flussI I appreciate the level-headed approach to your concerns and questions very much. this isn't the type of question or feedback I'm refering to when discussing people who are costing me my enjoyment of the writing. the difficulty I have with your question, though, is exactly what Dougie pointed out above. the frequency of the chapters is and has always been "every 1 to 2 weeks on average" with the occassion break thats longer than that, of which I believe there have been 2 3-week breaks. with 41 chapters out in 57 weeks, I'm having some difficulty understanding why the pacing of the chapters is a concern for individuals? and that's not even counting the early access to art, new projects, other stories, etc etc that you get through this Patreon...

Matt

I always took Patreon to be a way to support creators to allow them to create. Its the origin of the freaking name. I'm here for that support and get the glimpses behind the curtain, to have some small part in helping something new.

Namorat

While the tone is really harsh, Imam all for the content. The worst thing about Patreon for me is reading the comments of people always complaining and doing things the author asks them to stop doing. I am honestly glad when an author is wiling and financially able to remove those people from the Patreon.

Jesse Amador

Literally my favorite story ever. Makes me happy this is your fun project! Whatever and however you do it, keep it up, absolutely love it and am thrilled to be able to read chapters as they come out! It’s giving me time to read your other stuff.

Otis Reeves

Love the Series.. My Pattern $$ are here to support the author so he can continue to bring us such great content. Can not wait to see how the rest of it progresses. Sorry to here a few bad apples are ruining it for you but I think the majority of us are in your corner and love what you are doing for us.

Flusspferd

Thanks for the clarification. I am not actually claiming to understand where people who left some of the less than stellar comments are coming from as you are indeed delivering as many chapters as promised. The entire post above was meant mainly as a preemptive question to avoid future misunderstandings. I am sure some people would rather have you focus solely on writing but you have stated again and again that that is just not the way it is and I get that you are fed up with people stating that. What I have commented on in the past and, for me, was really clarified in the post above, is your scheduling and time management. I believe you have stated in the past that Stormweaver will be your focus as well as that it is your fun project (see above). What I gathered to be the common denominator amongst most negative comments seems to result from the diverging expectations created by those almost diametrically opposed statements. At least from where I am standing (and take this with a grain of salt as I know virtually nothing about the publishing business), things that need to be addressed in a matter of minutes shouldn‘t pop up regularly. If it is therefor your focus project, I believe it might be feasible to set a certain number of hours revelry day aside for writing and given that you are an awesome author, criticism by some random people should just bounce off of your self-confidence. If it is however your fun project, you will obviously only dedicate time to it when the other important stuff is off the table or you feel well or you need it to lift your mood. In this scenario even the most bull headed person should understand that nagging comments destroy that wholesome working environment. This is obviously just my take on it, but having it stated once and for all that writing is currently your fun project explains the scheduling and semi-frequent things popping up. Keep up the great work!

N0_Brain

Good choice! I totally support this. Hopefully it helps you enjoy it more!

KuruPatreon

But why have a Patreon then that's designed for discussions and to be interactive?

Keonah McCullough

Bryce, could you please clarify for us that truely desire to comply with your wishes, does making guesses with others in the comments upset you? If so, then I am super sorry. I just love the story so much and I thought it fun to try to guess where the story is going based on clues you drop. I have no idea what your story outline is and any post I have made were always excited fan musings in anticipation of more story. Please let us know if that sort of thing is OK or if we should stop that as well. We all want you to enjoy the process of writing because the story benefits from that love of creation. Please don't let people dull your joy. Anyone who can't respect a person's boundaries is not worth your time. But, please clarify those boundaries for those of us who wish to continue to make this a healthy space to encourage your writing and still excitedly connect with other fans of your work. Thanks for letting us be a part of the process.

Michael Keene

If there's a need or an opportunity for a mod I willingly offer up my services free of charge. Thank you for creating an amazing world that obviously drew us all in.

Jules Deathwish

Guys, I understand that this is a bit patronizing, and might make you a little angry. You just have to remember this is his world, and he's doing an amazing job creating it. If you're only concern is that he takes too long to release chapters, then the solution isn't to complain. You cancel your patreon support. Set a recurring 4 month alarm, re-subscribe for a month, read all the updates, and then cancel again.

sdf

Sorry to hear it's ruining your enjoyment of the process. Chapter 40/41 was fun. 99% is pretty good though. 1% of the population is made up of high-functioning narcissists and sociopaths. If it helps, use the ban-hammer of god, kinetic bombardment, telephone-pole sized tungesten rods of "shush, you" (though like cockroaches, they're likely to survive). That or put out a few more books, hire an assistant to cull through the feedback and have him/her/them forward along the good stuff. All overlords should aspire to be isolated from reality, unless you want someone riding behind you whispering, "You're just a man." Which is weird and it didn't really work out for Caesar that well anyways.

Eilis

BAN HAMMER THEM ALL🫡 But seriously, this is your safe space and everything you share is a gift to us readers that you don’t actually need to share. I for one of course would love to get the entire story in all its 10+ books immediately 😜 but I am also aware that you are a person and need time and the mental health to do that, not to mention all the other stuff you are doing to help more authors share their stories with everyone

Kay

Completely fair; and i've personally enjoyed the series so far!

David

Love the series. Ban those causing issues!

Aaron Tufts

If Stormweaver is your fun project, which project is the not fun one? 😉 it’s A Mark of Kings isn’t it…? Poor Declan. Counting down the days/years until Book 3 🥺🤣 but yea screw the haters. They can eat dirt and get lost.

David Marek

You are far too polite, I'd have banned them 3 days ago when they started talking this rubbish.

Wilson Lessley

Where is it stated that SW2 chapter posts are platforms for discussion, or interaction with Bryce?

Miguel Sanchez

Bro. I am chomping at the bit. I have read iron prince 7 times already… checking for every clue you left behind that bears hinting on this one… I believe that SHIDO is a mass effect device… meaning it affects the probably of adaptation and it S class Growth works not only in combat/pain/sweat/tears but on exposure to other CADS.

James Bortree

Hang in there...there is always someone who thinks that creativity can be scheduled. Son and I love the book and the chapters. Looking forward to seeing how you develop this.....

Patreon is an easy way to collect the pledges, handle the post unlock status, provide messaging, and a place to post so Bryce can write and deal with the million other things Wrathmarked has going on without having to deal with that stuff too. Collecting money and handing out the rewards would be a giant pain otherwise, which is why everyone uses services to manage their kickstarter rewards. Patreon is a convenient platform that provides those things. The posts and warnings that he does not intend to discuss the story direction or want feedback have been a constant the entire time. People finding stuff cool or being excited seem to feed his desire to write, and the story is full of things to react with excitement about.

Gregg Moses

Bryce, you are my favorite author, bar none. I enjoy reading whatever, whenever you release it. I don’t care if it’s a chapter or 100 chapters I will buy it and love it. I love your characters and the story line. I worry about your mental health and hope this writing process is healing for you and not detrimental for you. Enjoy it, go with the flow and ride the wave of tranquility as you continue to enlighten us with your creative artistic magnificence! At the same time if I have ever written anything that has upset you, I profoundly apologize, that would be the last thing that I would ever want to do. Good health and blessings to you along your treasured journey!! With all my deepest respect and gratitude for the joy and happiness that you have brought into my life with your work, I thank you!’

KRDiamond

Same. It’s here to help support, not provide me with a service or product. I’m guaranteed only what the other person is willing or able to manage as far as sneak peeks or art. Some more, some less. I have multiple accounts that have months of almost nothing during part of the creative process followed by other months of multiple posts per week. You just go with it. Almost any Patreon I support has it laid expectations out in a way that makes it clear (just like this one!) that these will be estimates and the artist will do their best. Some months are late, some more bountiful than others, but it doesn’t really matter. The patrons support is what helped make that possible but artists are not machines and art doesn’t get churned out like clockwork. If someone feels their expectations are not being met, they can just unsubscribe. There’s even an option to indicate specifically that they felt they were not receiving what they expected. Just leave. there’s no need to be a jerk about it when leaving is so simple and let’s you give the feedback of why when you do. 🤷‍♀️ guess people just can’t seem to fight the urge against being petty on the internet

James Denoyer

I've never posted because I just enjoy the chapters and just wanted to say thank you for everything you do. This world and story is fantastic and the haters an jump off a bridge

Cynthia L.Lara

Bryce you are much more tolerant than I. I wouldn’t even give a warning, just ban said person from the forum. My sandbox, my rules… if you don’t like the rules BE MY GUEST and find another sand box. The door is wide open!

Kit

Have to say 100% love this. It's important that people understand that we are paying for a privilege, and Bryce has made it clear what to expect and what is allowed. While I may have issues with some of the content, I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into creating such an intricate story. Thanks for all your content Bryce!

Wraithmarked Creative

you know, fluss, this is VERY good feedback, and exactly the kind of discussion that needs to happen for me to get a better sense of the community. I see now a point of confusion of my own making because I wasn't clear enough in my previous statement. when I said Stormweaver would "be my focus" what I meant is that it would be the story that I'm working on consistently for the foreseeable future rather than jumping to another project after Book 2 is done. if an author with a day job says that X project will "be their focus", I don't expect people to assume they're dropping everything solely to work on that. it means they'll work on that exclusively whenever they have the time to do so. I'm in that boat, even if it doesn't seem like it to a lot of people. I am no longer a full-time author. I am part of the working force and writing on the side once again. I understand why some people might find that hard to reconcile with the fact that I WAS a full-time writer, of course, because rather than falling back to a day job because of projects not working out, I've passed through into a day job because projects did work out. I can see it's partially my fault for not clarifiying that when I say "it will be my focus" I don't mean "it will be the primary thing that I focus on as a creative". I mean that, in the limited scope of time I am allowed to write, it will be what I work on. I hope that clarifies some things. I may actually rewrite this as a Reddit post. this is a good thing to clarify. -bryce

Robert Vick

I read the first book when it first came out and have just now found this. I think this whole process you've got is great so far and am looking forward to your chapters as they come.

Mick Dugan

Thanks brother. I’m having a blast reading and the anticipation is pleasantly agonizing. You have a lifetime fan in me.

Flusspferd

Thanks for the reply once again. For me, there was some confusion but your initial post up top clarified things already. This is, however, vastly more eloquent, guess there is a reason why you are the author ;) To specify: I (and hopefully most others, as you were clear about that) understood that you are not a full time author currently. It was however not clear to mewhether you consider writing to be a part of your full time job (thus the example above with you setting aside a part of your day for it) or it is entirely on top of your regular day job. Your reply clarified that perfectly and puts past posts in the right light (for me). I can totally understand not getting around to writing on a regular schedule if it is vying for attention with other interests of yours for your free time. At the same time I get why people with a different understanding of your job description are miffed if you don‘t get to writing because you, for example, spend the weekend playing MtG (fantastic use of time, in my opinion but anyways). I hope that puts some depth to the misunderstanding I was talking about before. Got to stop discussing stuff at this point if I want you to get around to writing, have a great week!

Hmm. I thought long and hard about my response, because I'm well aware I'm a main offender, and I'd rather not get banned if I'm being honest. However, I do believe, as Fluss as pointed out, that when you're under a certain agreement with people paying money there should be a means for discussing discontent. That in itself should not be a bannable offense in my opinion. Disrespect, certainly. Personal attacks and such, sure. But the expression of discontent should be an opening for you to discuss the issues, not go 'scorched earth.' That is of course only my opinion, and you'll do as you see fit. Fortunately, the discussion between you and Fluss was a bit enlightening and addressed a lot of the major issues I saw, considering it was my understanding that Stormweaver was going to be your main priority. So, that being said, there is only one other issue I'd like to address, and if it gets me banned, so be it. I feel like chapter 41 was incomplete. I believe even your wording suggests it is incomplete. So, to me it seems a bit dishonest to say, "Well, I'm pumping out as many chapters as I said I would," when you're cutting the chapters short to make that happen. I understand that you don't appreciate criticism. So whether you choose to ban me or not, that will be the last I ever give on Patreon. But, I would urge you to give future criticism a bit of consideration before "going scorched earth." As I said in my offending comment, you're a good writer and that's why we're here, and as Fluss jested in his recent comment, you are just a man.

Wraithmarked Creative

"I feel like chapter 41 was incomplete. I believe even your wording suggests it is incomplete. So, to me it seems a bit dishonest to say, "Well, I'm pumping out as many chapters as I said I would," when you're cutting the chapters short to make that happen." JD, what you are granted access to is a glimpse into my process. A process of creating a very rough draft. That doesn't JUST mean spelling errors and grammatical misteps. That also means points in the story I'm not sure about, points I will need to rework, and points where I may or may not combine or split chapters later. The issue I have is that you are attempting to give feedback and criticize a *rough draft*. Literally an imperfect project. That is not okay, and is one of the main reasons I say again and again I do not want feedback. It's literally like the offenders are looking at the framing of a new house that's got nothing by bare drywall and a missing roof and complaining that it doesnt look the way you imagined in your head. There will be times you get a chapter that you're unsatisfied with for any number of reasons. My not being sure about an ending point will be one of those. If you cannot get a handle on that and you continue to try to poke holes in my writing process because you want things a different way, then you should not be here. As for arguing that you don't have a place to voice your criticism and concerns... I'm a little baffled by that, and ask you to please read the updated rules & reminders that have been in place since Chapter 31. Literally *months* ago. https://www.patreon.com/posts/early-access-2-73000867?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link -Bryce EDIT: forgot to sign myself and spelling

I ENTIRELY understand what you're saying, Bryce. I'm sure many others do as well. Thanks for this response.
