Happy 2026! (Patreon)

Another year goes by. Times like these remind me of some lyrics by The Killers: “And every year goes by faster than the one before.”
This 2025 started in a good way, artistically speaking. I was able to do a lot of nice pictures and even picked up some projects I had left behind (I’m still catching up on them haha). But I think that when I got back from a break I took to visit my family, I started to feel down and I didn’t realize it until a couple of months ago. Somehow, I had lost the spark that kept me going. I stopped seeing friends and interacting with them for no reason in particular. I started to shut myself inside my own mind and let work consume me.
Don’t get me wrong, I know how blessed I am to be able to do my art and make a living from it. But without noticing, this work that I love so much started to feel like a prison. And this reminds me of another song haha, sorry for all the music references. I usually prefer to speak my mind through songs. Without realizing it, I was trapped in my own mind.
But then I met someone who made me realize all of this. Funny how the mind works. If I hadn’t met her, who knows if I would have been able to get myself out of the hole I dug myself into. Thankfully, I noticed what was happening, and now I’m working more on myself and my mental health. I was able to reconnect with some friends that I love, and they showed me that they love me back and care for me. Because of her, I’ve been able to find new inspiration to push my art in ways I hadn’t expected. For 2026, I want to expand even more on this growth. I want to keep getting better so that everyone can enjoy what I do.
I know it might sound strange to say that I love doing this kind of work, and I’ve even felt kind of guilty for it. Some people might find it disturbing or assume that I’m some kind of monster for making it, but in the end, I can’t change their minds on this topic and honestly, I won’t try to either haha.
Sorry for the long text, sometimes I like to say a lot haha.
For this 2026, I hope you can fulfill all the goals you set for yourself. And even if it’s hard to achieve them, at least make sure to lay the foundation so you can keep working toward them. Keep pushing yourself even if you fail, but always make sure to take some time to rest and let out those frustrations. I wish you all a very happy 2026, filled with joy and beautiful moments.
And as always, thank you so much for supporting me throughout this year!! Thank you for sticking with me through all the burnouts and delayed projects hahaha.
Take care, everyone ☺️
