As a side note. Obi-wan reconciled with killing anakin,, if it came to it during the fight. Obi-Wan never killed an already beaten enemy. Not in the prequels and not in the clone wars series. His kills only happen during the fight. His counter to maul in rebels for example. If maul was left defenseless at a certain point obi-wan wouldn't have made a killing blow after the fight was already over, but in this case his counter was lethal. Killing an enemy after he was already beaten was anakin's stick, like with dooku, often also seen in the later parts of the clone wars. During this fight with anakin/darth vader, obi-wan made peace with himself in the knowledge that he wasn't responsible for anakins fall, absolving him of his guilt that plagued him for 10 years

also those guards of organa you made fun of. The houses of Alderan always had their own guards. Those guards are trained by them, employed by them and loyal to them. They aren't loyal to the empire directly, only to the house they serve in this case to the head of the organa house. If he were loyal to the empire they would be too, but he is not and so aren't they. They are most likely to be in on it.
