I guess you’re right in saying that HYBE didn’t want anything to do with iland2 or be involved. But iland2 is not really associated with YG but with The Black label. Which is a subsidiary label under YG but is recently looking to part ways with them and become their own independent label (Jeon Somi, Taeyang, Park Bogum and recently Rose). They keep showing BLACK PINK, Big Bang and 2NE1 because it was Teddy the founder of The Black Label who produced many big hits for those groups. So, moving forward the group will be produced by Teddy and he will probably be responsible for the music and concepts. But they will be co-managed by Teddy and WakeOne (Zerobaseone, Kepler). Also very happy this group will be different than other survival show groups because they have the standard seven year contract. And they will be having their first ever offical group performance at KCON LA on July 28-29. 😁

I think so also but I had seen on Wiki say that they’re being co-managed by both companies. But I’m not sure as some were commenting on twt that since he is producing the music, he might also be in charge of the concept they do etc

So CJenm and Hybe got some beef going on and Hybe ened up buying Enhypen completely sort of saying as they were both under hybe/belift and cj enm... then i-land stayed as a part of cj and thus hybe didn't get anything to do with this and instead created r u next
