Finally created something for this, a poem, exploring Karimu's thoughts and feelings. In tenderness of solitude Upon a snow-drift height A kindled ember flickers A heart with fickle doubt. Yet when you’re near the stars align The rivers flow, the birds fly high And while we lay here, paws entwined I feel a warmth in heart and mind At first I thought you’d hurt me Like all who came before With claws and fangs, needs and greed To cleave away my heart They scratch and growl, seethe and scheme Desperate for a future dream A crystal throne, Eternal gleam Unending power, beside their queen But in your eyes, I see anew A simple promise, a constant hue For all the pain we’ve suffered through Could only bring me closer to you. And now upon this mount of snow Your tender licks disperse all doubt For in your gaze I finally see A male’s love, Purity Now in your calm and deep embrace I feel a warming, sweetened grace Eyes meet, hearts touch, I push aside All doubt, for we are one, unbreakable pride.
