It is time I show you the Devil himself (or is it) Adam Kadmon, the story's main villain.

Some of you might remember his crimson vessel, also known as the Tesseract. Inside that shell, we have its proper form, a Hyperdimensional entity that is observed as a 2d object in our universe since our dimension cannot process its complexity.

Adam's goal is to restart the universe destroying everything that came before, and while that sounds terrible for the lifeforms of the present, it is only part of the cycle of existence. Adam's role is to reset the universe before it becomes a cell of entropy (this happens as part of the natural death of a universe) which starts to infect other universes, putting the whole multiverse on the edge of extinction. The multiverse is also a big enormous entity, referred to as "The One" or Uriin Dod Jivana, which could be seen as Arcadia's version of a true god.

So putting things in perspective, Adam does not fit under the concept of evil we all may have, his duty is a noble task but there is no denying his process is in direct conflict with the desire to survive or all lifeforms in a particular universe. Life always finds a way and that's why Adam hasn't been able to succeed in this universe for more than 1000 years.

In this final cycle, he is taking all the precautions he can to ensure everything goes according to his plans.

Adam was created by the primordial forces of creation of the cosmos before the multiverse was segregated into multiple little parts, These forces are also known as The Absolutes, entities that could be seen as the outer gods of the multiverse.

There might be more to tell about Adam but for now, this will be enough!
Next, we will see one of the forms Adam adopts in his final boss stages.

I'm curious, how did you decide on the final design? Like what were the reasons for scrapping the other variants and what you were looking for with the final one. I'd love to hear your thought process.

For the Tesseract , I went for what felt suitable to the idea of Adam I had since day one, I think the other concepts were too polished, and perfect looking making it feel artificial, but since Adam is an elder eldritch horror at the core, it felt dissonant with the idea. So the rough, uneven and worn-out look made more sense to what I see as Adam, he is cold and calculative as a computer but he still was born from the absolutes in the multiverse of chaos ,so while he could be considered godlike, he has to feel more organic and eldritch.

Makes sense, that all translates very well into the final design. Thanks so much for sharing <3
