He is the oldest member of the Blades (not counting Adonai, of course) since he has lived during at least two cycles. Belias is the type of man who never questioned the way things were during most of his human life, he just lived a simple life with his wife and kids until he lost it all due to his own actions. As a talented researcher and scientist, he was soon recruited by the Exicom Empire to discover new forms to use Magh to better the lives of the empire's citizens. It was a matter of time until Belia's talents would be used in the creation of War weaponry. You'd have to be really naive to think a kingdom like Exicom wouldn't take the chance when they saw the potential of Belias' discoveries.

From new war machines to the fabrication of Toxic pathogens, Belias involved himself in all of them, whether he liked it or not. He never intended to have his findings and research used this way, but he had little option back then, being pressured by the higher-ups of the empire and the king himself. Although he didn't like the direction his work was going, he couldn't help but be excited about his findings, it was like his ego as a scientist took hold of him, not thinking about the impact these findings would later have on humanity. Eventually, his work led him to find a way to enhance the Magh glands in individuals to produce higher levels of Magh emanations, this discovery could be either used to kill a person, making them mutate so fast due to the excess of Magh that they would eventually explode or turn them into magh monsters that would later be called "Corruption."

The " C Enhancer" acted like a pathogen that could infect an entire town in minutes. Two cities were the target of tests for the new pathogen, the first test used the Explosive variant, and the second used the corruption variant. It was then that Belias saw, for the first time, the effect of his work, and he was horrified. It seems the military and research crew didn't properly calculate the reach the Corruption variant would have, and it quickly spread through the region, reaching one of Exicom's towns, Belias' Hometown. The only things left of his wife and kids were mutated monsters of his own making, soon The Empire decreed the termination of the research due to the high level of risk and ordered the extermination of the town to prevent a variant expansion. Belias tried his best to stop them, but it was futile. With one of the new bombs he helped create, his hometown was annihilated in a matter of seconds, and his old life vanished with it. Nothing but ashes and unrecognizable corpses were left around the perimeter, and the town was erased from maps and forbidden to visit. Most people in this last cycle do not even remember the town's name or existence, only Belias does, and he won't be able to forget.

Belias decided to destroy all his Research findings and escape from the capital, scared he would be forced into doing something similar again if he stayed. He turned into a hermit and tried to live his life disconnected from society, but the guilt tormented him every night with visions of the victims and his family blaming him for their ends. The man could not bear it anymore and decided he could not keep on living, so he tried to kill himself, but his attempt was frustrated by the visit of one man, Lord Adonaios.

Adonaios convinced the broken man to join the Blades by telling him he would be able to pay for his sins under his command. After that, he would be free to die if so he desires. Desperate to right his wrongs, Belias accepted and devoted himself to Adonai's plan to fix the world, if he couldn't right his past wrongs, at least he could help Adonaios save the world from its impending doom.

Belias' backstory is still in the works, so details and motivations are subject to change, but that is the general gist of his story.
