Exicom itself is heavily inspired by the UK and, to a lesser degree, Germany and France. Exicom is also a combination of a medieval European setting and steampunk aesthetics. That's why you have characters like Kaius, Albert, or Sir Joaquin looking kinda knight-y but, in some sense, also modern.

Exicom, by all means, is an imperialist kingdom that always tries to have any sort of influence or control over other kingdoms, either subtly or violently like the history of Arcadia could for sure tell you.

Exicom is the kingdom of Water and Steel, being the home of most of the Water magh users in Arcadia, and the kingdom has a long history of royal families being of this elemental affinity. You could imagine there is some type of discrimination or prejudice when it comes to elemental affinities in Arcadia, especially between the north and the south kingdoms: Exicom being water and Durashonia being Fire. While Exicom describes Durashonian people as fiery savages and temperamental uncivilized people, Durashonians think Exicomers are cold, stuck up, superficial, greedy, and power-hungry.

this is gorgeous, i can just tell this place would be fun to travel in w/ it's atmosphere... the asher and ixbal for scale is making me imagine it like a classic prerendered background like in psx and early ps2 games too 🥰

thanks! I intended to emulate the vibe of pre-rendered ps1 and ps2 backgrounds, hopefully, that's the quality I can achieve when I try to develop the game.
