Concept Art 53: Exicom (Patreon)

A view from afra of the capital of Exicom, Eldengard. The castle at the top is King Frederick's, the current ruler of the kingdom. His family ordered its creation and has lived in it for generations, remaining as a monument to their power and ego. The centerpiece of the capital, as tacky as it might be, is supposed to represent a sword in the stone like the classic tale, meaning that the royal family of Frederick believes themselves to have been chosen by God to be the rulers of these lands, you can tell they are depicted as egocentric people and with a superiority complex.

The fact that the "stone" part of the center district, which is the one the most remarkable nobles live in,  is a giant fountain of sorts is no mistake since the Exicom kingdom is known as the Water kingdom. It is believed that an ancient deity might be sleeping at the bottom of the deep eye of water the center district is built on.

So, yeah, I'm considering the possibility of having Ixchel, the water Nephilim, be the one sleeping inside the underwater ruins of the ancient civilization that eventually became Exicom.
