Concept Art 59: Aeternitas (Patreon)
Content
This deity represents eternity and time and, unlike Adam Kadmon, her foresight of the future, past and present is absolute. Aeternitas is an entity that rarely intervenes in the affairs of mortals since she is more like a watcher whose objective is to protect the timeline and the stability of the cosmos. At the moment her relation to The Absolutes, the primordial gods of the multiverse, is ambiguous, to say the least, but she might have some relation with Lykt (god/goddess of light) and to some degree Entropy (we can discuss that later since is a whole drama)
Aeternitas was the result of the union between the twin effigies (ixbal and Huna) and Adam Kadmon. This was possibly through the chant "Lullaby of the stars", an ancient song in Adamic that induces a deep sleep state in the orphan of chaos and turns him to his original form. The original provenance of that ancient chant is unknown, but the effigies were able to learn it from steles in Tartarus, the white moon, where the Ancestrals made records of its usage. This might mean that the chant was used by them as a last resort but unfortunately, it didn't work fast enough to stop the universal reset and Tartarus is the last vestige of other existence.
Independent of this node in time or canonic event in the timeline, Aeternitas is eternal and has existed since the creation of our universe if not before it as you see, she exists outside our notions of time and space, therefore she can be omnipresent but inexistent to us at will.
