Its great seeing you putting more details on the backgrounds. Alot of your backgrounds that you do are really darn good and I enjoyed the "complete" feeling with character and a more detailed background. I especially liked the detail with water reflection you did in this package. Some of these pictures also hold a little nostalgia for me since it has a similair pose to the first picture I ever saw from you. And that piece is the one that made me start following you all those years ago.

Aww thanks a lot! I love doing backgrounds and I can make them way better now with the new reward system! If you may, do you recall which piece it was that this reminds you of? It'd be fun to see!

I remember very well wich one it was specifically. It was 6 years ago you went by a different alias then and you made a piece called "Kat and Marah". I had recently started painting miniatures and I was very bad at painting skin, so I got the idea to look around for some good skin painters to get inspiration from. Thats when I stumbled over your work. This specific piece you made spoke to me in how you handled the different skin tones. And seeing them side by side with such a difference in tone really made me understand how I could play around with skin tones and brought me the basic of understanding of skin painting I have to this day. I have saved this story for quite some time and followed all your artwork for 6 years now. It was something I was gonna reveal when the gift I have been working for you was complete. The gift is nearing completion so you are just getting a spoiler really xD It might sound silly that one of your pictures did that much for me, but that's just how it is ^_^ But now since the cat is out of the bag, I have been a fan of your work for the longest time and you have my deepest thanks and respect as the great artist you are. So let me thank you here for what you did for me 6 years ago and to this day. Thank you MLeth for the art you have made and the inspiration you have brought all these years! This from a long time fan. a still ongoing miniature painter, and a fellow Swede.

Dang, I'm not sure how to respond to this! I'm just a humble dude who paints stuff ;w; Glad I could inspire though! Also that Kat and Marah one was during a time where I wanted my art to have a semi-realistic feel but I've been moving away from that to a more stylized look (more anime/manga-ish). Thanks for sticking around 6 years, fellow Swede!

Probably not the answer you were expecting ^_^ No need for anything I just wanted to share a fun/thankful story about what your artwork did for a random person that saw it :) And I think a story like this should be told to the artist so you would understand just how much some of your work really affects people, I have even used some of your art as references when I have taught/helped people understanding color practice and how to use it. (I am by no means any art teacher but I have held classes in my town on a hobby level) I was there for your style change. I remember it well and was fun to see ^_^ Its nice to mix things up a little. Sorry for the wall of text, in hindsight it might have been better to drop this on you in a personal message but when you asked which picture it was, I felt I needed to explain myself a little. It kinda snowballed from there, because to me you are a big influential source on how I work and how I think in a big portion of my own art. So I wanted it to really show how much it has meant to me in the text.
