I always forget just how big these guys became on tabletop lore!

This is on a 50x75mm base and before I added a head, just getting the proportions right before driving into detail.

In terms of the torso; I'm determined to make it still look like it's a dwarf.

As far as basics go, I'll make modular pieces for:

Hand weapons

Great weapons

Shields

Command

3 x bull bodies

3 x torsos

A number of bare arms and shoulder armour.

5 heads and a champ. These will also have masked versions for those more blessed/annointed guardians.

Everything made will still follow the same aesthetic as the Evil Dwarf range, perhaps just more fancy since they are of a higher status than your regular dwarfs.

The challenge I've put for myself and not sure how it will turn out OR even if it will, is designing them in such a way that you could scale existing and these components (up and down - which I wouldn't be so cruel not to provide!) so that you can mix and match creating very unique centaur units for any game system or collection.

So, technically you could have bare torsos on your melee units, or armoured centaurs with smooth helmets armed with shotguns.

Love to know your thoughts.

Being able to mix-match the existing would be wicked.

That sounds wicked in terms of modularity and design-approach, very cool. I‘d love to see them in very heavy armor, sharp edges, spikes and so on, in particular on their flanks. These guys are so mich canvas for cool armor to show
