If this was a fighting game, Fern would be the player who wins by just spamming the low kick move the whole time, heh. Also, the author did a good job in subverting expectations with Wirbel. You think he's just some random thug when he first shows up, turns out he only kills out of necessity and actually cares about his teammates.

So in this wie have: Scharf ( guy who used airborne blades) = Sharp Land (Illusion / clone guy) = Land as well as country, depending on context Richter (Man fighting the 2 girls) = Normally it would translate to judge, but in this case because of his earth magic it is probably a reference to the Richter scale, which measures how strong earthquakes are.

Yeah the fact that he’s spent the majority of his life fighting demons and he’s been in war positions where he’s self admittedly had killed to kill women & children sent out and still hesitates & only kills out of necessity says a lot about his morals
