That was a pretty cool setup by the Master... Unfortunately, even though he's shaken, Muzan just continues to regen!

Some guy named Chris

“I don’t want to see any more of my children (the demon slayers) die” Proceeds to kamikaze himself along with his wife and two of his actual, literal, children. I respect the play, but killing kids, even if they went with the plan, don’t sit right with me.

Noah

I'm so glad today is Friday and not Saturday I don't think I could survive not seeing part 2 tm lol

Aidan

While killing his own children with him and his wife is a little strange, in the end Kagaya never once showed an inch of fear or flinch towards muzan. He was a sick dying man that had no fear when facing the king of demons himself. If there is one thing his death caused is that all the Hashira will indeed unite to defeat/kill their beloved master. You saw it in their face when they were running lad, the pure desperation and worry to get to him in time. They are all going to be pissed

To be fair, in the manga, which is likely cut out, he tried to send them away, before muzan came, but they refused to leave him and chose to stay to the end

Yeah, if that being the case I can sort of understand, though could just have easily had one of his people forcefully take them. What are they? 8? He went out like a boss, dying anyway so why not try to take out MJ? And his wife is a real one standing by his side. It’s just a sticking point to me.

I think the intent behind all of them dying was showing their collective will as a family to take Muzan here and now, given that it's been their goal for centuries. Even Muzan was shocked at it happening, and it's possible he might have been more cautious of approaching Ubuyashiki if he had sent his family away.

I didn't even notice it was a double episode when I watched this, time just flew by.

If his family wasn't there and it was just him, muzan probably wouldn't have fallen for the trap. Needed to be all of them. We're reaching the endgame
