Our boy, Rudy, is definitely dealing with a lot, but this party is helping him to keep pushing forward!

Rudy was stuck in a rut mentally after Eris left, his party is gone and he still needs to find his mom so basically fell into depression after wandering alone for a while. Now he's starting to pull himself together. Rudy burns Eris's hair as a sign he's moving on from her but still holds onto Roxy's panties as it's the only connection he still has to her. Only in this series can a man in a boy's body crying over a set of panties be a seen as a sentimental moment heh.

This was a much better episode than I remember it being. For some reason I remembered it mostly being Rudy moping about. I remember it being a weak opening episode for Season 2. But everything else past it being much better. But if I hadn't been so hyped for Season 2, I probably would've dropped the series here. But rewatching it with you, I've realized that's it a perfectly fine episode. I wonder I thought so negatively of it? Maybe I'm suffering from some kind of Mandela effect?
