Tohru's family, besides her grandpa, are terrible people. They take so much out on her for reasons that don't make sense, and they take advantage of poor Grandpa, but he isn't afraid to put them in their place, either. Every time I see that slap, It makes me so happy. Next month, I'm looking forward to episode 7; it has one of my favorite characters coming up in it and another hit to your emotions, but as you can probably guess, many of the episodes will be like that. I'm just wondering what that moment will get you.

I know that side of the family, besides Grandpa, makes my blood boil, and it's all because they never liked her mother, so of course, that's their reason for not liking Tohru. Like you said Grandpa being the one to slap him was so satisfying.
