Turns out that Pickle was just napping... And he tends to get up from his naps pretty hungry!

This was the point in the series that started making me like Katsumi in my top 3 favorite characters. Katsumi was always a cool character but the way he matured and handled himself here. His backstory. His relationship with his two mothers. The way everyone acknowledges Katsumi here. The humility he shows. And the moment in the hallway I’m almost positive that Baki is sure Katsumi can defeat Pickle.

This is literally the only emotional moment I actually related to and enjoyed for storytelling. I completely forgot the two mothers bit, but seeing it makes Katsumi go from another background character to an actually memorable Orochi in my books.

Between violating people and the laws of nature, conquering America as the strongest creature, and now that stance sealing it; you can't convince me otherwise. Pickle's real name is Hanma. He's the OGre 1000%.

I love this episode because its one of the only times reality kicks in with Baki, "Oh yeah, the human body doesnt have that many joints and I just made that up in my head"
