We are in the endgame now. Curtis is almost done with Baki. In My Opinion this is the best part of Baki.

Yeah, Baki's mum was an angel... just as much as Ali Jr and Kozue's romance arc, was good. Come on Baki vs Yujiro!

This episode sucks flat out; but it's worth mentioning most of the fan base still hasn't watched season 1/2... so I sadly can't hate it going into the fight ig... So far the groups of people Itagaki can't write include; Women, children, Americans (specifically white & black), main characters, side characters, civilians... anyone else?

I just recounted and the Yujiro/Baki segment lasts ~67 manga chapters. For reference from 1st form Frieza finding the z-fighters to Frieza's death on Namek, the "longest anime fight ever" lasts just under 40 chapters. There's the weird mini-arc, but pacing wise after every episode basically has an entire volume to play with. I'm sorry you have to wait, but a week from now should be a peak worth waiting for!
