In the past marriages were more like contracts or business deals rather than romance, even among the commoners it was more of a matter of survival. Women needed men who could provide for them and men needed women to bare then children who would be free labor when they were old enough and would take care of the parents when they were old. It's a pretty recent concept (relative to all of human history) to marry for love alone. I wonder how you determine a "King" as far as getting powerful king's blood. Robert wasn't born a king, he got the title by winning a rebellion and overthrowing the previous one so it's not about bloodlines or families. He became king because he was declared king. So if you really needed king's blood, could the current king abdicate and have some random nobody declared as his successor to take over as king, then have his men kill and drain the new king's blood and then become king again?

You'd think stannis would notice the crimson red flags coming off the red lady.

Maaro, the leader of The Second Sons is such a douchebag. If Barristan and him fought 1v1 Barristan would destroy him. Hell, I imagine Jorah would kick his ass too. Poor Tyrion lol. He's trying to comfort Sansa, but not doing a good job of it; mind you its no fault of his own since the entire ordeal is awkward. Cersei's veiled threat always gives me chills. Wiping out House Reyne is what Tywin Lannister is most infamous for. Tywin briefly mentioned to Arya about his father, Tytos, whom he considered a good man, but a weak man. House Reyene took advantage of Tytos' weak willed nature and kindness until the head of their house decided "eh why don't we take all of their lands, why bother serving those we're better than?" Tywin responded by wiping the entire family out and burned their castle to the ground. Another fun fact regarding it; House Lannister has a golden lion for their sigil while House Reyene had a red lion. Mel is into some kinky stuff XD

The Baratheons are related to The Targaryens, which is partially why Robert had somewhat of a decent claim after killing Rhaegar, Tywin having The Mountain slaughter Ellia and her children through Rhaegar, and after Jaime killed Aerys. Robert is a quarter Targaryen is Aegon's brother is the founder of House Baratheon. It's less so "King's Blood" and more so "Targaryen Blood", which as we know through Dany, has super natural properties given that she is immune to being burned in any way.

"My Boobies are real, you only need your hands to feel and you will know they are real." - Melisande probably.
