Barro

Hey Curtis, do you remember that guy, that guy who would react to movies and TV shows, yeah I think his name was Hermes.

Matthew MacKinnon

lmao, did you hear the guy's response to the customer in the background, at the "lose weight now, ask me how" booth? right before it cuts away, "so what we do, is we make you starve to death" can be quietly heard in the back lmao

Lord Baldur

Still a better king than Joffrey... low bar, I know.

Matthew MacKinnon

something i LOVE about this show, and a detail i didnt even think about when i watched this yearss ago lmao 1) "The writing staff of Futurama held 3 Ph.D.s, seven master's degrees, and cumulatively had more than 50 years at Harvard University. Series writer Patric M. Verrone stated, "we were easily the most overeducated cartoon writers in history."" 2) when bender whips the slave in space, there's no land to stand on, hes currently floating in space so no air resistance or anything, and hes floating in 1 spot with no momentum in any direction.......so when he whips the slave, it follows the laws of physics, and he floats backwards since every action has an equal/opposite reaction lmao

and a follow-up to that, a LOT of the math and formulas and shit used in this show, are real and i think in a future episode still? (which tbf this aint a spoiler cuz it aint like its about the episode really) but there's an episode where one of the writers actually created and proved a theorem, in order to solve a plotpoint of that episode, which is now called the "futurama Theorem" of course (nothing like super majorly world-changing or anythign to be clear lmao, but still cool)
