Temperistic

Tracey replaced Brock in the Pokémon anime primarily because there were concerns that Brock's character design, with his narrow eyes, could be perceived as a racial stereotype by audiences outside of Japan, particularly in the American market; Tracey was introduced as a more "Americanized" looking character to address this potential issue

oh wow lol, I forgot about Jessie's hair this episode, yeah... I can understand why she was extra mad this time. Tracey's ok, but I do find him a bit generic compared to Brock, it's a mix of different issues really, his design doesn't really stand out enough, his introductory episode feels more focused on Lapras then him, and just generally he feels kind of safeish, he's just kind of nice, he doesn't establish himself enough early on like Brock did.
