Ah, the time old story of your ex trying to drag you down to hell. btw, they recently did a remake of Ranma 1/2, which is also written by the author of Inuyasha.

Kagome, Kikyo and Inuyasha's love triangle is a pretty complex situation honestly... Kagome and Kikyo... are literally the same person, just different incarnations, Inuyasha essentially loves the same person, they've just lived through different circumstances so he's conflicted because his feelings for both are genuine. Kagome's feeling hurt and frustrated now because she can feel that Inuyasha cares for her... but at the same time he was basically going to let himself die for Kikyo, showing he still cares for someone else... even if that other person is in a way still Kagome, just in a past life. Just want to let you know, that part at the end were Inuyasha talked about "having both of them" wasn't in the manga, he's not quite that pigheaded lol, I like Inuyasha's anime, but it does have a few of the same issues Ranma's original anime had (not nearly on the same level though) with the anime staff taking a few liberties, I do feel bad for Rumiko,.

Ah, my bad, I remember him watching the original Ranma series but I didn't keep up with the episodes, so probably got them mixed up.
