The question if Howard is an asshole or not splits the audience even more that the question if Jimmy/Saul is an asshole. Imho they kinda both start as the one and end up as the other, but that is literally just my opinion, not a "spoiler". One could also describe both as "human"...

Yeah, based on comments I’ve read in the past on Howard; majority of people end up liking his character. You kind of see through the series he tries to do good. But we definitely see a lot of characters in this series do things for their own benefit a lot of times.
