WOW! What an absolutely amazing, tragic and triumphant story! We lost some AMAZING people, but their legacy changed the world!

This show... I have kind of a complicated relationship with it. On one hand, there's so much I love about it, and I remember it really fondly. It's a fantastic story, and I can't thank Dandy enough for having the patience to sponsor it for so long! On the other, I don't love the ending. And I've been known to love a good tragic ending, so it's not just that it's sad. I guess it just really didn't fit for me with the tone they'd set up this story to have. Maybe that sounds weird because it was always a violent, gritty, war story... but it was also a really hopeful, found family story. About a bunch of abused kids overcoming adversity. It's kind of a weird choice to me that they then decided to go... Great! Now who wants to see them all die tragic, horrific deaths?! Because I sure didn't. But I also think this show is really interesting in the sense that the first season could totally stand alone, if you only wanted to see that more optimistic part of the story. Sure, it would be a little open-ended, but in a way that felt like they'd accomplished enough, that the story was wrapped up enough, leaving its viewers with every reasonable expectation that Tekkadan only had brighter things in store for it in the future. But that's my little ramble for today. Seriously, thank you again, Dandy for having the fortitude to spend this much time on a single show! I definitely don't have that kind of willpower, but I wanted to help out, just a little, here at the end.

Man to think Mika an Akihiro could've probably made it if Gjallarhorn didnt hit them with an orbital bombardment of what are essentially geneva convention banned weapons and they still got up and kept fighting at least Akihiro got to crush that Idiok once and for all that was very satisfying poor Hush too I didn't like him at first when he talked crap about Mike but he was a loyal follower and deserved better maybe in a different Gundam series he'd have been allowed to grow and evolve I still wish wed have gotten a sequel seeing what Ride and the boys are up to or a prequel about the Calamity war

Very glad to have been able to get your reactions to this entire series! It's been, uh, certainly less than pleasant having to avoid/ignore your well wishes for the future of a lot of these characters. But, now we're finally at the end, and are hit with nothing but silver lining. I knew from the very beginning that, despite the sadness and tragedy, you'd always like this series. All of Tekkadan, despite not knowing what was truly waiting for them at the end, would still fight to the very end, believing in the words of their friend/leader. Heroes, fighting and dying for their freedom and the freedom of those they called 'family'.

All Might

I'll miss this. A top 5 story for me.
