I really loved this episode. It showed james at his best when he cares for his pokemon and i really liked nanny and pop-pop. They are a nice cute old couple who truly loves james for him being him and showed that even though james parents were scumbags its nice seeing thag james had some real parental figures in his life

I really liked this episode, it's genuinely a really good one, honestly I think basically any James centred episode tends to be great, he's always a fun character and it's nice to see him have some happy memories. So I forgot to mention this last episode, but in Japan they did change how the shows structured at the same time the English dub changed, so you were right to notice that it wasn't just changes for the dub.
