Tony thinks he's putting on bravado by saying all of those horrible experiences as a kid didn't affect him, when subconciously, they royally fucked him up. I also do believe those experiences have helped Tony be a much better father than his own with Meadow and AJ. Racism and such aside, I'd say Tony's been a much better father to his kids than Johnny was to Tony and his sisters. "Good snack" as it transitions to The Badabing. XD The timing of you saying that and the transition had me laughing.
