Chatot is a pokemon from the next generation introduced early. We got a lot of those latley with Mime.jr, Bonsly and Munchlax

Also Chatot was banned because of its attack Chatter. The player could record their own voice and the Chatot in game could say any word you recorded… Which lead to him saying some really racist stuff, no really in 1 tournament a player record their chatot to say the N-Word. Kina reminds me of that one Soli JJ racist pokemon video

Apparently Ada and Chatot's show is based on on a real comedy style in Japan... but it doesn't translate well to English at all... it's meant to be quick snappy jokes with a straight man and funny man, but it just feels kind of badly timed in English, plus they're meant to speak in a particular dialect when doing it, but well that doesn't work in English.

Yeah they're doing a comedy style known as manzai. You see it in pretty much every anime. It's those moments where a character like Goku or Luffy would say something stupid or outlandish and then one of the more sane characters would react to it.
