This one really hurt!! Now I REALLY need to see that piece of shit Naraku get eliminated, and hopefully in a brutal manner!

People were shipping her with Sesshōmaru and you can see why. If she had survived, she would’ve made a great wife to him..

I finally caught back up on the Inuyasha reactions, I'm glad I was able to do so before this episode, sorry if this is a little wordy lol. Kagura's death was brutal and one of the series best moments for me. She started off hateable and slowly grew into one of the best characters in the series as you watch her grow a genuine bond with sesshomaru, Kohaku and Kanna (more in the manga), she was starting to become a good person by the end... I don't say this to bring it down... because I still think the anime scene is impactful, but I think it loses a lot of the artistry from her death in the manga, it's a bit hard to explain if you haven't seen it, but her final expression feels more... content in the manga, there's a peaceful calmness to it, and the wording is different. her final words to sesshomaru when he asked her if she's going weren't, "yes, I've had enough, now that I've seen you one last time" it was "yeah... I'm Good... at the end I got to see you." I might be being pedantic, but I feel like it changes the meaning, even if only a little, she was smiling when she said it, in the end nothing else mattered, she just wanted to see sesshomaru the man she loved one last time... I mean for some reason they decided to condense around the last 200 chapters of the manga (it's 558 chapters total) into 26 episodes for the final season so a lot was condensed or cut. I would like to see the series remade eventually after Ranma so we can have a proper adaptation that's more faithful.

THE GOOSH!

This was a hard-hitting death! If it was even more well done in the manga, I can’t imagine how much that would have stung!!
