This game looks like it's gonna have an excellent story and fun battles! I like the background it is already giving on the characters, and the action parts of the game look like a lot of fun!

And so it begins... There's so much to go over. ^^' The biggest thing, I'd say, is to direct your attention to the bottom of the screen whenever the scene changes. It gives you info on where/when the scene is taking place. I don't know if you noticed, but the story so far is happening in 1985. (Which makes it little less strange that there are still video rental places and VHS tapes, lol.) I know I already told you that there will eventually be 13 characters who all have a story mode to follow. It's worth mentioning now that they don't all take place simultaneously in the greater timeline. So, like, in Juro's prologue, the three girls are already friends, whereas Iori's prologue is taking place a little earlier, when they first meet. (And the battles, of course, are taking place in present day. These story modes are all basically flashbacks leading up to it.) Hopefully this will save you a little confusion... but I'm sure I already mentioned that this game is beloved for being a total mindfuck of a story. It's driven many a player to obsession/insanity trying to piece it all together. But that's part of the fun! I was thinking of editing the battles out... (aside from the story dialogue at the start and end, of course) but we can see how you feel about that after a few sessions. I don't want to bombard you with too much right at the start. ^^' We've got a few more sessions of this prologue before it'll open up and give us some control over whose story we play and the like.

I love this game. Mainly the story. The way this game handles its complex story buildup may be better than any other thing I have ever seen in my life. 13 characters may seem like too much, but they handled it so perfectly.
