WOW! As much as it left some frustrating ambiguity, I liked that ending! After some more thought, I feel confident Tony was taken out (his fading to black) and his family was left alive, but all of them having to see him eliminated right before their eyes... Damn!!

RIP Phil! I wish we had the opportunity to learn more about him, like whether he'd ever been in the can. And, if so, for how long.

DevilJynx

And thus David Chase's Shakespearean mafia show comes to an end! As for Phil.... POP! Goes the Philly!

RIP Tony The real question is: Who called the hit? The New York threat is gone, so there's some confusion over who it could've been. Perhaps someone in Tony's own crew? Maybe a disgruntled associate who's true loyalties have been in question for much of the series, a cranky old fuck who's been secretly vying for the top spot for a while? The guy who, even after all his associates and friends ended up in the ground, is still sat at Satriale's with the rat-identifying cat staring straight at him? Couldn't be. Right? Brilliant show, brilliant ending.

Absolutely legendary show. I first watched it a couple years ago and Sopranos has become one of my all time favorites. It was very fun watching it along with you Curtis!

Jes J

Good show, glad to have watched it with you, really appreciated the insights from someone who was around during that time

DevilJynx

Sad news. Vincent Pastore, the guy who played "Big Pussy" passed away this morning.

You should do a video reviewing the show or something. If you want of course!

Reid Mclellan

First reactor I've seen that gets the guy going to the bathroom and acting suspicious. (Going to retrieve a gun like the God father scene) and conclude almost immediately Tony died. Also I have to ask, did this show topple Breaking bad for best show you've seen in your opinion?

GoldArthur

I mean, Tony had Phil popped in front of his family. So it makes sense for it to happen to Tony.
