I'd recognize David Brimmer's voice anywhere. Didn't expect him to be a crazy gym leader haha. He voices Odion in YUGIOH and a bunch of characters in One Piece like Crocodile, Axe Hand Morgan, and Barbarossa

Ok wow and the voice actor for Hamilton is Jason Griffith who does Sonic The Hedgehog and a bunch of voice in YUGIOH GX

Taslim Oyan

Lol, this competition was equivalent to "Try all you like; the president's kid is getting the job, even without participation."

It’s funny that there an entire town that loves croagunk and have a festival for them. It reminds me of that one Wobbuffet festival from season 4

Nice seeing the backstory of how James meet Carnevine

Hamilton was originally supposed to be a homage to the main character of one of Shonen Jump's earliest manga, The Gutsy Frog, where a kid falls on a frog whose spirit then takes over his shirt. He and his Croagunk shared the names of the MC and the frog, Hiroshi and Pyonkichi, and Hamilton's design was 1:1 with the OG character. But, presumably to avoid lawsuits, they completely reanimated all his scenes with a new character design and changed the name of him and his Croagunk even in the Japanese version.
