Wow, this was an amazing episode! Pigeon Man is the kind of story that genuinely sticks with you! And the best part is, The Spelling Bee lead-in episode was excellent, as well!

I remember watching these as a kid in the 90s. The episodes are so short, but I remember them as so long and meaningful. They really made the most of the short timeslot they had in these cartoons.

Man this was my shit along with Angry Beavers, CatDog, Ed Edd & Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Doug, oh man I could go on forever

I honestly forgot the spelling bee episode was part of this episode, which is crazy because I remember liking this episode too! (I love how obvious Helga lost on purpose, spelling "qualm" with an X.) But yeah, the Pigeon Man part of the episode is the highlight for me. What a great character and story. My favorite one-off character of the show and probably the first episode about people who are... different, I had watched. There's also this bizarre myth that refuses to die, even after the creator debunked it, that the ending to this story was gonna be darker (supposedly that the Pigeon Man would've jumped, without his elaborate flying mechanism), but nah, the episode was always gonna end like this. Also you pretty consistently calling Arnold "Arthur" throughout, was funny. XD
