I was told the dub and sub are about equal in this, so I went with dub as it's much more convenient for reaction vids.

Matt Smith

I still like HxH more though.

The series was actually heavily inspired by american super hero comics like Spider Man and Captain America because of the authors (Kohei Horikoshi) love for amercan comics. I think it really shows the influence when you see the series. However it still has that classic shonen anime style to it that Horikoshi captures perfectly and the characters are so amazing. I love this show a lot lol.

I think you'll like the pacing of this anime. It kind of cuts to the chase while letting you get attached to the characters. Not like One Piece or Naruto, as much as I like those, they tend to a few episodes to get/remind you of character motivations and then flashback to that from time to time.

Oh yeah! I subscribed JUST because I want to see you do both My Hero Academia and Hunter X Hunter. Both are excellent.

Lachlan Ferrand

Wow that intro sequence lix would be happy

Nuptup

Curtis do note that many episodes have after credit scenes

Matt Smith

The dub for hxh is very good too but I do think the sub is a bit better. Also the dub is impossible to find in a legal way unless you buy on amazon or somthing. MHA dub > sub HxH dub ≤ sub

Matt Smith

I like dubs more in general but I like to watch both as it feels like a brand new experience.

Matt Smith

I even like the AOT dub which most people hate.

I'm already very captivated by the characters and the overall look... This is gonna be fun! :-)

THE GOOSH!

Cool... Dubs are easier to react to, but if I like a sub better (One Piece, for example) I have no problem with going sub. :-)

As long as you enjoy the content that everyone loves who care how you watch it..side note...I was a sub only watcher until I found your channel. You're naruto reactions got me to try dubs and now I prefer them. So thanks for that.

Deep down we are all Goosh. It's just that society has somehow made expressing your true self a crime. We have been shunned by the majority for performing GOOSH. So i'm glad i can finally release my inner GOOSH in this community, and be accepted for my true self.

I'm so concerned he is going to say "no" to the question of whether or not Izuku could become a hero. :-)

I'm anxious!... I won't be home until around 3am, after I do this hypnosis show, but I'm still gonna try and get up early enough tomorrow to get everything else done so I can watch another one of these. :-)

Fuck you train! Also cool reaction xD

Hee Chungboi

i like this series cos it reminds me of RWBY so much some people say its a copy or imitation but i feel like they have their own unique qualities that separate them. It does seem like 90 percent of the ideas came from RWBY tho lmao but other than that i love both series

Daniel Turner

If you didn’t notice all might is voiced by Christopher Sabat the voice actor of vegeta and piccolo

Blackeye

Finally my favorite anime :D

PKKite

Yes this show is great. And the dub is fantastic!

Toshinden

Just found out about The Goosh today and had NO idea you were doing My Hero Academia yet! I remember mentioning it in one of your YouTube live streams and you addressed it briefly saying it was on the list and up 'til now I thought it was gonna be the next big thing after Naruto, so I'm glad I have a whole bunch to catch up on at my own place :] Today's also my first day signed up for Patreon and your channel was priority numero uno - can't wait!

Hey Curtis, I’ve been watching your YouTube channel since you started naruto and i just subscribed on here with the $20 sub. Looking forward to the videos

Matthew Budgell

Starting a brand new anime is always a crazy feeling. Especially when it's one as popular as MHA.

Amber

ok the sasuke comment made me laugh so hard hahaha

Hey Spaz Boys im not sure if youll ever see this, just a little fact, the voice of inflated All Might is the same voice as Ddraig the dragon from Highschool DxD, and Armstrong from FMAB. I think its neat to see resemblences in characters like that.

Lance Zehnder

Wow Bakugo's voice really changes from the start of the show to where it is at now.
