The hand villain views a lot of this like a game. He refers to All Might and Nomu (Bird Brain) as the Final Boss. Later he’ll start comparing his situation at that time as a specific genre of game (RPG) though this isn’t actually the biggest part of his characterization, just to let you know. He may also be viewing Nomu’s defeat as if the “Final Boss” Cheated... you know how we are, the boss fight seems so unfair and difficult that we view them as cheating bastards. Of course this is based on info he had that was proven wrong.... you’ll find out that next episode.

The scene where all might falls down right next to Nomu right b4 he does the plus ultra pucnh is so badass and one of my favorite scenes in the anime
