This took me by surprise the first time I watched this! Fucking Black Zetsu was the mastermind all along! Madara seemed unbeatable, and then Kishimoto threw Kaguya right at our faces, making the situation even worse!

The first half of the ep about Itachi was the ending of Itachi arc. A lot of people consider it to be the greatest filler arc in Naruto. It’s about Itachi’s life from since he was a child until what we know. I strongly advise you to watch this arc as soon as Shippuuden is finished.

there’s a rumor saying that Kishi had no idea how to defeat Madara so he had to introduce this whole Kaguya-Zetsu thing to get rid of Madara. And many people believe it including me. Madara was just too powerful for this world.

thats not a rumor, he actually stated that in shonen jump interview they literally had no way of killing off madara, hence kayuga was born

Fun fact: Kishi hit a brick wall here, he kinda had to end the series So he figured that This would be the easiest way to kill Madara and to create the final villain Who has no personality and potentially easiest to defeat. Kaguya is considered the worst Naruto character by many, and I totally agree with that Notion.

Don't care what people say madara Sama and kuro zetsu made some of the best sub voices. The problem though lies zetsu being SO important to the story when he was just a blob.

It's filler in the way it was placed in the anime, but as far as canonicity, I'm pretty sure the light novels are meant to be canon. In particular, several details from the Kakashi Hiden novel are referenced in Boruto (some of which has only happened in the manga currently), so I'd assume the rest of the novels are meant to actually take place in the series as well.

It's explained that Madara was really weakened after he activated the Mugen Tsukuyomi. Still doesn't make much sense but that's the explanation they gave us

It's a shame the dub isn't out yet for these episodes, I personally prefer the sub but I can see how it can be harder to react to, some great episodes ahead from here though. I agree Kaguya is hot :o.
