Wow! What a bullshit move by Tonpa! Even if it works out that it may have helped, I don't think there's any way that was his intention! The guy is nothing but a pathetic troll!... I can't wait, though, to see Leo and Killua get their shots at the prisoners. :-)

The next couple episodes are the ones that really hooked me. Now HxH is by far my favorite series.

Kabuto is kinda based on Tonpa in my opinion; being all friendly while really being the kinda guy to enter an exam just to ruin it...

What makes hunter x hunter so great is how much thought is put into everything to make it as plausible as possible while still being based in a fantastical world. There's also a ton of small details, metaphors and foreshadowing which make it even more impressive, but at the same time you can enjoy the show just as much without noticing them. Togashi really is as good as it gets as a mangaka

Damn I forgot how well set up some of these fights were. It's been a while since I read the Manga. Kind of reminds me of some of the later arcs of Black Cat (the Manga, not the lame Anime adaptation).

Thanks, My Friend... I gotta tell you, though, a scene I just watched in HxH gave me the greatest rush of adrenaline I think I've ever had while watching anime, and clearly gave me a new favorite character!... I went back and watched that one specific scene 5 times. :-)
