Wow! It didn't take long for FMAB to dig its hooks into me! The relationship between these brothers is already very fascinating, and I'm thinking, potentially heartstring tugging!

Lovin it!

PKKite

Best bros in anime!

Anonymous

One of my favorite series. Get ready for some emotional kicks to the gut though.

Middleman850

I pumped that you are starting this series :)

Anonymous

Fun fact: Armstrong is voiced by Chris sabat, who also voiced almight and Vegeta which is pretty cool

Donald

They’ll explain how alchemy works and about the philosopher stone. First episode is a bit confusing.

Douglas Streck

2nd episode explain things better, is a better first episode than the first one. I'm sure you'll like the series, imo it's the best anime ever created. Also, the kick in the feels are worse than in Naruto, prepare yourself hahaha.

Anonymous

most of the gaps from this episode should get filled in the next few episodes. Now I just need to have a re-watch so I can jog my memory and stay a bit ahead of you.

Anonymous

"Alchemy, the law of equivalent exchange"

Meelog Malterion

Even for all its Flaws I still prefer the Darker Artwork and story end of FMA to this Version but this version has its feels too...Althought I wonder how the first ones End would Make you Feel Baldman....especially with the Way the Movie Caps off

Anonymous

Its a great show, probably one the best animes out there. Its got a much darker tone and its more consistently dark than the others you've been watching in my opinion

Diego

so since you're not going to post these reactions to youtube are you gonna post them without cutting off some parts now or are you still going to edit them

Meelog Malterion

Hah Curtis you made the same Mistake that everyone makes in this anime by believing the Armored Brother is Full Metal....and it P!sses Ed off

Lachlan Ferrand

Know it is a long way away but after finishing the series you should watch the anime dub bloopers

Hisoka the magician

Yess finally it's here. The hype is real. I wonder if this is gonna beat HxH for you. FMAB is probably my favourite show of all time. Oh and please, Curtis, please show your reaction to all of the openings. They are just sooo good

Soulley

Awwww shit here we go guys! ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN

DxShadow

The voice actor for Armstrong is the same as All Might's :)

Sheriff Uchiha

Armstrong is voiced by the same guy as All Might.

Kaeden Coke Parten

I can't wait for the full scene of what happened that night to them.

MOB12

The greatest anime of all time for me and my second favorite anime of all time ❤❤ I'm so hyped!!!

Anonymous

this episode is filler btw

Anonymous

hey kurtis, are you still gonna do a reaction for hunterxhunter?

Nick

The best anime of all time in my opinion

David

Fullmetal and Hunterxhunter are my favorites animes of all time. These two shows are of the same caliber. Storytelling and character development will amaze you Curtis. I really wish you get the chance to watch episode 2 sometime this week to quench my hype for a while, but I'm a patient goosher.

Anonymous

"now i know why they call him full metal" that confusion is gonna pop up a few times^^ and it actually is the joke behind the title^^ that Edward is NOT the fullmetal dude^^ Colonel Mustang definitely planned for that confusion and it it is one of three ways to set Edward of^^ First is taking Alphonse (the armor dude, my favorite character btw) for full metal^^ second calling Edward short and third giving him milk^^ and would you mind making audio a BIT louder?

I think FMAB will beat HxH initially because he'll reach the ending faster, and the ending to FMAB is incredible. BUT when *that* HxH arc comes along we might have a different story

GoldArthur

Hey curtis can you post your intros on youtube in the description here? It would make it more convenient to play the intros

Hexigoon

"You need the example of a perfect physical specimen to inspire your recovery! You see? You're looking lively already!" Hahaha, Armstrong is the best.

Anonymous

Sooo excited to watch this with you

Antton
>>14658703

He will finish naruto this week so I think we are gonna get second one soon enough

Anonymous

The amount of foreshadowing in this episode you dont even notice until you watch the show over again. Its honestly a master piece.

Anonymous

if you can make it through episode 4 your good to go

Liesmith

Just to clarify since you'll be hearing the name over and over: the leader of the country is named "King Bradley", and his title is "Fuhrer". It just sounds like it's "Fuhrer-King" when they say it all together.

Aidan

I honestly feel bad for Curtis's YouTube fans having to deal with all that shit that's going on over there. They should just join the goosh but that also makes wonder why Curtis videos don't get blocked here but at YouTube immediately? Hmm don't get me wrong I don't complain about it but it's weird

Phillip Ribbink

Yes! I've been waiting for you to react to this. Glad you're enjoying it so far. It sucks that YouTube blocked it. Hopefully things work out.

Chiyuki

Besides HxH the best anime out there! Have fun, it´´´ is amazing!

Master Gamataifu

Finally, it's here! I'm so excited to watch FMAB with you, Curtis. This show has everything... great action, characters, music, and plot.

Anonymous

YES! FMAB! Roy Mustang = best character ever. <3

mfasi

I assure you Armstrong is just overly enthusiastic

Anonymous

Youre going to freaking LOVE this anime Curtis!!!

Anonymous

I have a few questions for you curtis. Are you going to stop hunterxhunter after the 1999 version or are you going to go onto the 2011 aswell? Also if one piece were to be the next 5$ would you still going with mha in between waiting for a new episode?

Zhalterrix

I guess, thanks to those tits, you missed a particularly important name.

THE GOOSH!
>>14668396

Yea, we'll always be doing MHA as new episodes come up... I was told this is the 2011 version we're doing.

KP

Fun fact if you didnt know, Edward is the same voice actor as young Obito ;)

Michael Moritz

Ah, Armstrong. The original All Might.

Anonymous

think of Armstrong as Gai they have the same personality

Anonymous

have you ever watch Death note, Tokyo Ghoul, 7 deadly sins

ParanoidAndroid17

Man I’d forgotten how much I love this show. You’re gonna love it!

Bryan Burke

This method of reactions has been passed down the Armstrong line for generations.

Sherv

A lot of these episodes have scenes after the credits, so make sure you watch out for those. Many of them are very important to understand.

Hisoka the magician

List of episodes that contain post credit scenes: 6 8 28 29 30 32 33 36 40 42 43 44 46 48 49 Curtis please leave a comment so I know that you saw this

THE GOOSH!
>>14686558

I saw it, and wrote it down here at my desk... Now the question is, will my Swiss cheese brain allow me to remember to check the list?! :-D

Anonymous

Signed up just so I could see your reaction to this series. Seriously an amazing series! Naruto is good, but to me this beats it out because it is able to tell such an amazing story without nearly as many episodes. This is gonna be a good one for ya!

Anonymous

Man, I love quiche. It is delicious.

Anonymous

oh ya maybe look the philosopher's stone up. There are tons of legends surrounding it.
