Goddamn, this freaky clown magician creeps me out! The boys better learn Nin fast or Killua is screwed!... What I'm really wondering is, what lengths will Hisoka go to in order to stop the boys?!

Jojoekage

He's back 😱😨 *Chills*

Jojoekage

I finally caught up to you in HxH 😊🤩🤯 it's fucking amazing.

Tpoints

Hisoka had mastered Nen way before the exam. He'd been holding back during the exam, so his actual powers haven't been anywhere near revealed yet

and its about to take off the hype train

Backstaber789

Yay! Nen is really well explained and all elements of it are kinda hard to remember!Hopefully you can get all of it down by the end of the arc Curtis!

Valrenas

The fact that it's a regulated fight does mean there's less chance of Hisoka killing Gon if they fight here though

Meelog Malterion

Just incase you Forgot Baldman Nen is how Hisoka Sliced up a whole team of guys back during the exam with a playing card

Meelog Malterion

The Moment you Realized Hisoka is on the 200th floor because hes fighting at that level was priceless....well I mean...Technically....it has a price...but you know what I mean it was funny....

Typhon

Wing isn't all that strong in the grand scheme of things, so he wouldn't do THAT well in the arena. That's why he isn't participating.

LordNoLife

Welcome to one of the greatest power system in the history of anime, its has so much depth, and is balanced af, because the creator of the show Yoshihiro Togashi is a huge RPG fan so he devised this clever system based on all the games he has played, it could be a little difficult at the beginning but you'll get used to it.

Back? Hisoka? he never left....and you think that Purple Stuff is his Aura?...oh no....thats Semen....

Well yea, Curtis this is like Chi and Ki, after all that inspection came from Dragon Ball Z which also inspired other anime and manga to do a Ki/Chi system such as Bleach, Naruto and now HXH though HXH’s system is one of the best and most complex in all of shonin.

vassardog

Just so you know, Gon and Killua don't have to master all the steps of nen in 3 hours. They only have to learn the basics ten (defense) in 3 hours, just the first step of nen. After that they can register for a fight at the 200 level, and use the remaining time to learn the rest of the steps.

Lachlan Ferrand

I love how your first reaction to the first real display of nen is that wing is gonna have to pay for that property damage

THE GOOSH!

Yes, I'm fascinated by Nen! My only concern is, you guys know how my memory fails me - particularly finite details - so please feel free to remind as needed of elements of Nen as we move along. :-)

He's a hunter Curtis, I don't think money is his biggest problem when renting there :P

You'll get a pretty good hang of it. It's like chakra in Naruto, they talk about it all the time.

If you think the basics of Nen are cool, wait until they start showing some of the more complex and cool abilities. They're some of the most unique and cool powers that Ive seen in any anime. Its a lot like MHA in how many different ones there are.

Anonymous

Wing's voice should sound familiar to you, its the same voice actor as Iruka-Sensei from Naruto. Its cool how he's the mentor for both shows huh.

SlickRob

Also can we talk about how cool Hisoka's costume is for this arc? Love the black and red!

SigmaMaleDigBick

nen is super detailed and i suggest that you try to pay extreme attention to the explanations. otherwise you'll have a hard time trying to keep up with whats going on

Matt Smith

FYI swagkage has a video explaining nen in detail but you shouldn't watch it yet due to spoilers
