WOW! The storytelling in FMAB is SO on-point! In a more relaxed episode, as the boys are getting some much needed healing, my feels were awesomely manipulated by the backstories. So much so that even my boy, Armstrong. was overwhelmed! :-D

Scars people were never "Taking Over" they were just a small country think taiwan vs the usa in size almost. They were just forcibly taken over and they didnt give up their rights.

Their was always tention between the ishvalens and the rest of the country when they were taken over just a certain incident caused them to cause a civil war when the alchemists came in and killed them all really

You missed the post credit scene on this one! The show can get a lot more confusing without them.

Soulley

They siad in the last episode whole Civil War started becuase the Military shot and killed an Ishvalen child on accident when tensions where already high becuase the Military Annexed the ishvalens into their country. They are religious yes but it wasnt the reason on why they started the civil war, but Scars reasons are more complicated which is why he sounds like a religious nut, but they will go into more detail later. I hope this cleared some things up.

Just take a minute to appreciate that Armstrong was...punching that wood apart...

This is why FMAB is placed at the top of the list of anime for the most part. I usually go to anime-planet.com for all of my anime, and FMAB stays at the very top.

This is the best anime. Especially for beginner anime watchers.

The past 3 villains (cornello, tucker, and scar) all represent the evils of religion, science, and politics/war and i really appreciate how the writer was able to do that so subtly so early in the series

Darkslifer#27

Also its not THAT hard to make Armstrong cry
