Holy shit! The Troupe is more intimidating than I ever even imagined! When there's a force as supposedly elite as the Shadow Beasts, and The Troupe members play a nice game of cards while only one of them dispatches them, it's time to start worrying!

In case you were wondering about why kurapika imposed the rule that he would only use chain jail on the spiders, its because this restriction makes that nen ability more powerful. Hes basically exchanging the liberty of that ability's use for a boost in power. Its a pretty interesting concept which becomes pretty important later on.

Lol the shadow beast got thier asses handed to them. I was laughing my ass off tthe whole time i first saw this and it made me really like Uvogin

Have you noticed that we haven't even seen what Gon or Killua are up to during these episodes? I guess it shows that they don't even need to be there to make great episodes.

Melody making Bards look badass since 1999.

I've always really enjoyed how hunter x hunter doesn't rely too heavily on one single main character to drive the plot. A lot of shonen animes stick to the formula where the single protagonist is the focus of every episode, and is always the one to defeat the important bad guys, and every one else is just there for support. It gets old.

Uvogin is so brash, energetic and straightforward, even though hes a bad guy hes just so easily likable =D

Emil Johansson

Uvo vs SB is one of my absolute favorite moments of this show!

Remember when you said 'hisoka take this guy out' yeah even hisoka will have a pretty hard time with uvo, wont be that easy. and the scarlet eyes came before sharingan

Nezu Mikey

And while all the focus is on Kurapika and the rest of the Spiders, it'll just make seeing Hisoka again all the more worth the wait~

Hisoka could totally kill Uvo hed get him with a thousand playing cards laying cuts everywhere then go in close for some body shots cause the thrill of being punched by a guy like that excites him then he'll pull his pants down and fvck the entire troupe infront of Kurapika....not only satisfying himself but denying Kurapika his Revenge at the same time....also a thin layer of Bungee Gum is the perfect condom....

Zhalterrix

You call this guy Wolverine Jr? Doesn't seem very junior to me.

You ever consider reacting to overlord? I think you would really like it.

overlord does have a decent amount of episodes, and probably does the best adaptation of being stuck in an rpg in current anime

they were very underwhelming lol
