Hello Darkness, My Old Friend.....

Anonymous

had to make sure and be properly blazed before this lol 😵 but Greed, the feels 😢

Anonymous

Al inserted himself in himself. Kinky

Anonymous

I hate to be a buzz kill, but couldn't have Al just claped and made a pillar or something to move the metal from Eds arm? But apart from that this was such an emotional episode. I don't tear up over much, but this episode and a 2 more in HxH get me every time

"Fuck him up" - Curtis, 2018

Well Al can't do distant alchemy. Plus both of them were completely exhausted from the fight and especially from that blast. I'm not sure what else could be done there...

This fight is probably my favorite final boss fight in all of anime. The rush as everyone bombards Father with everything they have will never be forgotten.

Subaru130

I mentioned before how weaker characters can still accomplish things in this anime, and this final fight is the prime example of that. This is the final boss of the entire series, and even here, average soldiers still have their role and actually do something. Not only do the Briggs soldiers save Edward and Izumi, all the soldiers also contribute to the chipping away at Father's Philosopher's Stone and keeping him on the defensive. Also, Greed really is my favorite character in this series. It might be weird, but him admitting that all he really ever wanted were really good friends has always hit me even harder than Al's sacrifice to save Ed.

K768

You should watch the bloopers after you finish the series. They're pretty funny.

Unfortunately I will only be partially I knew I was forgetting something yesterday oh well it's noon somewhere right alcohol x MJ when their forces combine I get a slight buzz

Love Greed in this ep

GoldArthur

We did it! We broke Curtis! If any anime was gonna do it, it was gonna be FMAB!

Anonymous

I love this moment if just because everyone still alive, no matter which side they were on, are here now taking on Father.

Anonymous

I love how every character was involved in this battle, most other anime like Naruto and DBZ,the final fight always comes down to a select few people to kill the villian

Aidan

Now that was a literal case of everyone Vs father and after watching this reaction I finally understand greed. Which is kind of sad to be honest

Anonymous

Next episode I cried. You'll see why. One of the few times anime has made me, a grown ass man, cry.

Control yourself. I mean, he's probably already seen it, but at this point in the series, that's borderline spoiler territory right there.

Anonymous

Greed is absolutely my favorite character from this show

Koala Banana

Fantastic reaction sir, we all know how you feel :)

Anonymous

I have watched this series 4 times already. When you started your reaction vids on this, you enticed me watch it again. I just love your reaction in this episode. This certainly had me bawling out on the parts of Al and Greed.

Nick

I think what makes this series so good is the fact that the main characters (Ed/Al) aren't overpowered. As a matter of fact they get their ass kicked 95% of the time, which means the support characters HAVE to be strong and have an impact on the story. As opposed to Naruto and Sasuke being op af, and the side characters going to waste.

Your Mom

Lol he had to get out of there before he cracked. If there's any show worthy of manly tears (or womanly tears for that matter) it's FMA:B

Enrico Gratzer

I have a feeling you’re gonna pause ALOT once you react to the bloopers of this series xD

Anonymous

At the end of the video curtis looked and sounded like he was just about to cry.

Anonymous

Oh man curtis, you just gotta watch the fmab bloopers after the show is over. They're seriously the funniest thing

Sherv

In case someone hasn't told you yet, watch through the final episode's end credits to see cool things.

Anonymous

finally caught up with your FMAB reactions. i've probably rewatched this 20x by now. it never gets old seeing others enjoy this show.

Anonymous

Did anyone see a tear? I couldn’t really tell on my phone. I honestly tear up every time I see this episode. I’ve watched this series like 10+ times over the years(no exaggeration either) and I tear up every damn time! I love this series bc it’s so rewatchable. What this episode does is make you feel. When I watch this I feel a rush, I feel happy, I feel shock(bc of Al), I feel anticipation(again bc of Al), I feel sad(again again bc of Al’s action), and finally I feel anger(at Father)like I’m in the crowd cheering on Ed to kick his ass. No other anime has made me feel like that. Only one thing in anime has made me cry so hard but it was in One Piece and I’m sure everyone who has seen it knows what I’m talking about. Sorry for this being so long!

Yeah even the lowest of the grunts in the military were able to contribute and save ed and teacher. Good ol guns and artillery from the military. They were useful in anime for once lol.

Anonymous

Dann it SpazMan. You almost made me cry again.

Anonymous

No tears, but his lip was definitely quivering. Haha

KP

He already did in Naruto when Naruto said his final goodbyes to Minato

Tyler

One of my single favorite scenes in all of anime is when Al makes that sacrifice. It is so well done. Doesn't matter how many times I watch it, it still hits me.

Miasimon

"Fuck him up, Ed!" Guessing you already watched the bloopers by now, so I don't have to explain why I laughed so hard at that.

Morgan

Did I hear your voice break at one point there? I saw you tearing up! I was wondering if FMAB would be able to break you... it broke me. Multiple times.

Anonymous

Oh and Curtis... When you see Vegeta, tell him I said. "like a bitch."

>>16722782

This is precisely why I love this fight. In too many shows, it ends with one person having to win singlehandedly and everyone else just providing moral support, even in instances where the theme of the show is about working together. FMAB is the only anime that comes to my mind where this isn't the case.

Antiquity

fmab, the masterpiece of masterpieces.

Anonymous

So beautiful that of all things that Greed wanted like money, women, power, sex, status, like he always used to say, the real thing that he wanted was the chance to have friends like those!

Anonymous

we almost seen some curtis tears lol such a great show!

Anna Lena Ciplajevs

This is one of the most beautiful scenes in all shows I’ve ever seen. I knew it would get to you. I’m already preparing myself for my tears in the next one. I watched it countless times and I still cry like a little baby.

Sean D

Man I wanted to rewatch this reaction :/ Where'd it go?
