I wanted you to see this. The singer is the voice actor for Ed if im not mistaken.

Another pretty funny Video related to FMAB are the Koma Theater Shorts (official, not fanmade), if you enjoyed the bloopers i think you'd enjoy those as well. Loved going on this journey with you fat man!

Hi Curtis, since FMAB is ending, would you be able to move HxH uploads to earlier time slot instead?

fdEA

You should listen to it in Russian as well. I like it better since it was the underlying theme of the original FMA.

Jojoekage

Damn, the lyrics are perfect. 😢

Theres another song like this called 'nothing I won't give' sang by the same person. That I'd reccomend.

Philip Repp (Bebop56210)

This song was in the original FMA series, he just did an english version of it. Like others said he's the english VA for Ed. XD

Anonymous

The Russian one for some reason is even more emotional

I'm not sure why we'd switch the schedule. It just seems like the obvious thing to do is put FMAB's successor, Dragon Ball Super, into its spot.

When I was going through my angsty teen years, much time was spent singing along with this song in my room.

Hey Curtis, Vic mignogna is the voice of ed! Along with him, many other characters in anime, including broly in Dragon ball z!

Anonymous

Are you going to react to the opening of the show now

Anonymous

Vic is known for his performance for Broly

Morgan

Vic Mignogna is our favorite pipsqueaks voice actor! He was also young Obito, and he was Nagato.

THE GOOSH!

Wow, I didn't realize Vic did all those iconic voices!

I'm glad you finally had a chance to hear this! In the 2003 FMA series, 'Brothers' was a prominent musical theme in the anime, usually instrumental but sometimes with the Japanese lyrics. Vic Mignogna is Ed Elric's voice actor in both 2003 and FMAB, and he sings this english translation of the lyrics for the fans.

Vic also voices Qrow in RWBY. Aaron Dismuke (the original VA for Alphonse in 2003) voices another RWBY char, Oscar. It's kind of cool to hear them together again.

Yeah this is an adaptation of one of the more prominent songs of the original full metal alchemist series. I'd check out the original as well for some fun, it's called bratja, I'd say the original series had superior music in general it had a unique soundtrack that stands out from FMAB which has a more standard anime soundtrack, plus the original is more a drama than an action series so the music was more dripping with emotion, this and dante's theme are top notch.

Vic is Eds voiceactor, which makes this so much more powerful

Aidan

I cried while watching Curtis react to the song but for the song only because it made me remember someone special to me and close to my heart who's not here with me anymore

Scryehard

Hey Curtis. You should either watch privately or react to the Traumerei AMV on YouTube. It is an incredibly well-edited fanmade music video that does a reimagining of Fullmetal Alchemist where Ed loses both his mom and Alphonese, and then lives his life as a guilt-stricken Dog of the Military. There is also the John the Hellhound AMV, which builds a story where Ed is a mad scientist sort of like Goldtooth from the real series. He works for Bradley and Mustang tries to catch him. Both of these are quite good, and I'd love to watch you react to both.

I believe this guy also sang the first theme song in the one piece dub among the other voices mentioned in other comments

I'm well beyond that now. I'm several episodes into DBS... I didn't know about those until after I had already begun Super.

Pretty sure Vic voiced Ed.

Dereck Velazquez

I need to claim the heads of whoever the fuck recommended this beautiful song to you without telling you that it's sung by Edward's VA. 😐

Oty Safiry

I was going to suggest this. This is an original song by Vic. Vic does a ton of anime VA, but he was especially inspired by FMA.

Dustin Taylor

Curtis Vic is the voice of Edward Eleich and the voice of Young Obito from Naruto

I dont know if you noticed Curtis, but my favorite thing about this song is that it’s an apology from each other- Ed, who paid no heed to the laws, and Al, who followed without arguing. Their mistakes costs them so much but its such a great story and Vic (and the original Russian singers) did so well with this

The lyrics are original, but the song is the main theme from the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist.

Tyler

Brothers, or Bratja, is a song that was used in the 2003 adaptation of FMA. It's actually a duet between Al and Ed each apologizing for what they did.

Anciient

Vic's not half bad.
